YAY! It is Saturday! And Halloween is on Monday! Last week we went to the pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins. That was very nice. Today we will be fingerpainting them and putting Halloween stickers on them! WOOT! The pumpkin I picked out is peach and green. It is so odd looking. Little Miss Butterhead picked out the rest and they are all the traditional orange. We do have turnips that could be carved to follow tradition, but I think we shall stick with pumpkin painting this year and save the turnips for a side dish. How about the rest of you?

Every Hallowe'en the kiddies from our daycare go from department to department in their costumes. I dare someone to say they don't melt completely at the sight of the littlest ones in their costumes. Oh Aylee, way late but 'grats on the birth of your son. Pics would be appreciated. [:)]

I am fixin' to get to more work on the afghan. I got up at 5:15 and was about to get on it, but my head hit the desk. That is the signal to get in the recliner and snooze a bit. Thank god for Vicodin. No headache but I don't get that stoned feeling some folks get. Which reminds me, I need to call the home patient office for a mask. I am suppose to have O2 when I sleep but I cannot stand the nose thingies. I want a mask for my bi-pap.

I was terrified he was going to slip and fall and take me down again. As for the morphine, it's not doing much of anything at all for the pain, but it sure leaves me feeling like I don't really care. [8D] Poor Fire last night was texting me and I had her in stitches trying to figure out what the hell I was saying, made no sense at all! And for the preggo part? I figured she was an elderly lady, so I kinda let it slide. But when I had it happen in August, with someone about my age who kept asking me when I was expecting, I finally looked at her and told her I'm NOT pregnant, this is just me. She tried to cover up by saying it was the way I was holding my belly, but I didn't let her slide at all. Told her I was holding on to to the strap of my purse by my thumb, and how could my hand be "protecting" my belly. She's the one who ended up looking like a fool, backpedaling didn't work, I wasn't gonna let her off the hook, and the others in the waiting room were looking at her like "Jane, you ignorant slut". [:D]

My 2nd cousin is having a boy in February. They just got the sonogram. Went digging through the closet of doom, got attacked by my winter coat and found the baby yarn that I think would work. Bernat Boo Berries. Mom just loves it. So I got it in the living room and when I am finished with Roscoe's blanket (2 more skeins) and the kids scarves, I will start work on it. Meanwhile I got a preemie afghan somewhere in the bedroom. I think it is hiding in the dresser...LOL!

Had I not been drugged, I would not have put them up.
