arrrrrgh! The woman I work with is a total bitch!!!!!!
I got a second job, full time, and the training for the job is from 4pm to 12:30 am for 3 weeks. I want to keep the job I currently have too.....so I spoke to her about shifting my schedule to accomodate the training for the second job, she said she'd talk to the boss, but that she didn't think he'd ok it. It's no secret about how badly I need money at work.....I've been robbing Peter to pay Paul, and both of them are broke! Anyway.....I gave a tentative notice.
So, I wait for her to come back with an answer. She said they were going to have a meeting and she'd go over it with him then. The meeting was on Monday. Tuesday, still nothing...I was off Wednesday. When I came in on Thursday, I decided that I Was going to get an answer. I went in, and asked him...and his response was "I won't stand in the way of anyone wanting to better themselves!" He told me it was not going to be a problem, I could stay on there, and any scheduling issues would be taken care of. The weight of the world lifted off my shoulders!
The kicker was that the bitch NEVER said a word to him about the situation. She was going to let me just go.....but she wasn't expecting me to be desperate enough to go over her head, and be prepared to beg if I had to! The fact that I did that really pissed her off! This woman has some sort of personal problem with me, but I have no idea what. THe most conversation I have with her is "hello" and work related stuff. I pretty much go to work, do my job, keep my head down and leave. I thought it was me, but several others I work with have asked me about it.
So, I'll be getting 2 paychecks, I can get all my bills back in order, and pay the back rent I owe. My landlord has been great....I'm in the hole for $600 and he hasn't said a word, or even mentioned eviction. And I'll have money for Christmas presents! Finally......I think the end is in sight! phew!
