ORIGINAL: Asherdelampyr Ok, I watched it twice, and didnt see him self-adjust once... nor did I see him caress... I saw him shift his weight around a bit (porlly either bored or his feet hurt) but thats it... Aside from the fact that proper conduct could be determined by looking around and seeing what all the other men are doing - the boy is supposed to be such a hot shot lawyer, if ya listen to him spewing about his law background you would think hes F Lee Bailey and the ghost of Johnny Cochran rolled into one... Sooooooo, Im assuming he knows how to look up a law. Like perhaps this one: United States Code Title 36 Chapter 3 — National Anthem §301. National anthem; Star-Spangled Banner The composition consisting of the words and music known as The Star-Spangled Banner is designated the national anthem of the United States of America. Conduct during playing — During rendition of the national anthem— when the flag is displayed — all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart; men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart; and individuals in uniform should give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until the last note; and when the flag is not displayed, all present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed. Nowhere does it say - "hold your nuts for the National Anthem"... But this is the man who wants to be President. then maybe one of his first acts as president should be to remove laws that shouldnt have been made? I can accept that there is a religious reason behind him not placing his hand over his heart, hell, there are 4 "mainstream" religions I can think of that have issue with that... so what is more important? A constitutional right, or a law that shouldnt have been made in the first place? This quote sums it up: Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual. - Thomas Jefferson So, whos rights was he infringing on? he wasnt touching his neighbors nuts too was he? Aviator, you're grasping, stop it, you are better than that
