Status: offline 		This is perhaps more a rant than a question.  I need this off my chest.  I am sick to death of male subs that can't make a decision to save their lives.  I ask for three things that are very rare in a submissive partner (you'll have to look at my profile for more detail): intelligence, empathy, and maturity.  Yah I know this is hard to find in the vanilla crowd never mind in the bdsm world.  But I am clear in what I want on my profile why the fuck do I keep getting jackoffs that wouldn't know any of the above emailing me?  (rhetorical question)  I am sick to death of men that fantasize about submission but can't actually submit when the opportunity is presented.  Yah sure the heart and mind are much harder than the body but that's what you signed on for when you messaged me.  Fuck!  I am tired of this.  I am tired of having my heart broken.  I'm tired of investing so much time and effort into someone that can't get his act together and/or has no idea what he wants.  To all of you jacking some Domme around: fuck you. B) If YOU keep getting involved with dorks, then YOU need to work on YOUR screening method

C)  Whiny tantrumy doms are really unattractive

Surely you have the brains to realize that idiots are found in every walk of life and it's no different in WIITWD. Suck it up princess and try using a bit more patience and common sense. Think back to how many times your heart was broken in the vanilla dating world in your younger years and see that it happens here also. People are people which means they are fallible, this includes men, women doms, dommes, subs and slaves. Status: offline 		I can agree with "B".  I am not a whiner.  I am having a bad day and I'm really hurt.  Everyone is allowed to have that.  I wasn't looking for sympathy or a bitch slap either.  I just needed to vent. 

This was a situation that was going on for 2 1/2 months.  We met.  We clicked.  Then he panicked.  I am just tired of people that can't step up the plate.  If you like it, want it, you match someone, then have the balls to follow through.

Status: offline 		First of all a big hug, next it's okay (at least to me) if you vent here online. Many times we can't tell our vanilla folks this stuff so isn't that why we're here?  for support and a little understanding. Doms, Dommes, Masters and Mistresses are allowed to have feelings and emotions, just like vanilla folks, so I wouldn't feel good calling you a whiner or kicking you while you're already down. I would gently suggest re evaluating your methods to see if there are changes you can make to improve your luck, since you can't change other people (at least not until you own them LOL) good luck to you and vent all you want

Status: offline 		Well it can take a long while to find The One.  And while FemDoms have it alittle easier, (because there are alot of male subs to choose from.) it can be a long road to travel. So, OP like the others have mentioned: look into yourself, see if there is anything that should be changed? examine past relationships, was the end result the fault of the other, or were you at fault as well. (vanilla relationships as well.)

Status: offline 		Might be a trust issue. If I just met someone and it went hardcore right off the bat I'd be pretty weirded out, especially not being used to it at all. It's not like I jump in and out of relationships all the time, vanilla or not.

I'd need a while online, and in person, to trust someone enough to do whatever it is they want. Trusting blindly isn't for me. By a while, I don't mean years, but maybe a couple days/weeks to know them enough (depends on how often we meet, I don't move out to someone's place on day 1).

Sorry you're having such bad experiences. 
How much does a person sign on for merely be sending an email?  To me, the first one is just a hello and tenative way of saying maybe we should talk, no commitments on either party's part beyond that.
