Great question, abcbsex--you hit exactly on one of my pet peeves with erotica and porn in general.

i really dislike the attempts at "plot" i've seen. The dialogue is always painfully stilted, the voices and expressions exaggerated, and the plot so implausible and unnecessary that it's nothing but a distraction. i know i'm watching porn. You don't need to make me think i'm watching Shakespeare.
