Children, really you two have to learn to play nicely if you want to play in the same sand box. Look I have a new toy for each of you. it is called..................................

The BLOCK button..

Now off you go and play with it (and yourselves if you like) and quit messing with the tranquility of this place........

Yeah, good one ib...! Sorry to burst your bubble but this isn't your private domain so save your patronising witticisms for those who actually think you're clever. The "block button" is for those who need it - head-on happens to work fine for me....

ROTFLMAO. I never invited the 50th to the sandpit, and he seems unwilling or unable to talk up the challenge offline. Is the sand getting in your eyes, Sir ?

satirically,

Getting back to the actual topic, and as Mercnbeth found out, you've already proven yourself to be one who sends unsolicited mail then hides behind the 'block' button to prevent any reply. And you were publicly accused of being a coward for doing so, yet you didn't deny the action.

Now we have an OP broaching that very same action of 'hit n hide' blocking in general; to which most agree is cowardly - including you, Jacques! So of course I called you for your outrageous hypocrisy.

And what is this latest nonsense that I'm "unwilling or unable" to take up some imaginary challenge offline - this is the first I've heard of it! Mate, you are delusional but allow me to enlighten you on some overdue facts of life.... When I'm challenged in public, I respond in *public*. You can snipe from the shadows if you wish (which doesn't surprise me at all), but considering your track record for hiding behind 'block" buttons, I will not be answering (or reading, or blocking) any correspondence from you as a consequence. I will not give some brat the respect or satisfaction of taking his private mail seriously because of your blatant contradictions in public - and I don't care how much you suck up with honourifics like "Sir". Yeah, I know, you were being sarcastic - rightttt....!

Get some credibility happening here, first, because this alleged big IQ of yours just keeps leaving you looking like a whiny dimwit. Most other folks round here are wayyy smarter than that....

You mean some people think I'm clever??? No, never. I just call them as I see them in my own way and manner. I simple come accross the odd one or two like you and class them as ignorant oalfs who can't see anything but personal attacks and take offence at every thing which does not directly support you. You can't even get close to me.. If I'm anything, I'd probably leave you behind as far as class and manners go but then I cant be bothered to find out or even look at your profile... One look at you and my only comment is .... NEXT!

Focus,
Appreciate your attempt and for pointing out the obvious. We won't/don't use a CM's "block" button. We have our own personal "ignore" button.

The day I even think about the need of using a "block" button is my last day on-line. I can't imagine ever lacking the confidence of standing up for myself, beth, or what either of us have posted. I've disagreed with people on CM, they've disagreed with me. I respect them and their positions. We aren't here to agree, just to exchange thoughts, debate, and learn. Who knows, I may even be "blocked" by a few people, but only one has taken the route of sending direct challenge and insult and then blocked reply. That's the response of a coward lacking any confidence. I'd only forewarn anyone contacted because I've never met any Dom/Master/Mistress/Domme that lacked confidence. All have had confidence as a fundamental part of who they are.

Blocking is for stalkers. Outside of that it's the equivalent of hiding behind your mommy's apron. Who knows, maybe it's just the on-line personification of what's occurring in his life.

Too f**king lazy to read back and see what set off Focus; all i know is, i have never seen puffery, lies, bad advice or any nonsense in an IB post...and i lust after Him to boot.

Generally, I dont use the block button but tune out to certain people for a while. It's pretty easy to ignore them and yet if they do post something which I either agree with or I see as excelent, I'll still post them a "Great Post, loved it" post. never was one for holding grudges. (Fudes yes, grudges no).

Class? Manners? Mate, someone's been posting in your name, then! You've had a running commentary through this whole thread and still yet to make a meaningful response to the OP itself.

The rubbish you said of me wasn't even the worst of it.... You actually expect to get respect or gratitude for your actions as an uninvited spectator sniping from the sidelines in a grossly condescending manner?? And now, after I pulled you up, all this wounded indignation on top of it? <sheesh>

Being an "ignorant oaf" (oalf lol) in your eyes can only be a compliment.

"NEXT" indeed....

Good. Then perhaps we can agree that we have absolutely nothing to say to each other. I wish you well.

Issues. P is for Psychotherapy.

I am touched by your pale attempts at calumny and opprobrium but I am tiring of this. If you want to debate it I am happy to--offline so as dear readers are not subject to any further such misinformed bluster and half-baked fulminations. I suggest you read Julia Kristeva 'Tales of Love', especially Chapter 3 I, in preparation.

the need and propensity to hurl insults when i denied you a channel for meaningless invective is rather illuminating. I will leave it at that. As you have demonstrated, resulting to the barren asylums of personal insults is churlish at best, and infantile at worst. Anyone needing to assert authority has in not in their grasp. Are you and the malappropriately titled 'Focus' some sort of triad. In which case, apologies...I never want to intercede in domestic arrangements. Like IB has mentioned, I preferred just to say to you both that we have nothing further to say and move on. I would like to think the amygdala has evolved sufficiently for that to happen.

That is my last word on the matter.

rumour has it it being jointly published out of Palos Verde and Newcastle under the imprint of the 'Queen's Foundry'. The first bit of the name is self-evident, and I believe the second has something to do with steel manufacture. Some of the inhabitants seem literate enough.

Even your "last word" wasn't. Go back and hide under your rock, or your mom's apron, or your "block" button. You define "chicken dom". Weakness in convictions, weakness is though, weakness in general are best illustrated by surrender. It's not magnanimous or "graceful", it's weak. Enjoy your one handed web surfing. On-line was made for you, and you're perfect for it.

I'm honored that you block us, then post, block us then post, the block again. We promise we won't hurt you through your computer terminal. Do you have one of those new programs that you attach to yourself and it simulates being with another human? How painful must it be to read the truth?

I read a report once that stated that Dominants who feel the need to use large words do so in order to make up for their lack of large male genitalia. I can neither confirm nor deny this. And unfortunately the source of that info just escapes my memory at the moment.

Mate, it *IS*.... And just look at the results - you've got the perpetual big words back again and everything. Nuthin' like time away to gather yourself - good for you! All you need now is just one other person who actually communicates with such ludicrous terminology. Alas, I believe the legendary Sir Humphrey Appleby (Nigel Hawthorne) has passed on....

Now down to more serious matters re this thread's topic.

It's come to my attention that Mercnbeth are not the only ones you've contacted and blocked in one fell swoop. That probably makes you the most qualified person here to give insight into what the OP is complaining of.... Now I'm not saying you were attacking profiles etc, but I'd certainly be interested in what motivates such bizarre manoeuvres and I dare say the OP and many others would, too! Here's your chance to earn some rare Brownie points.

And "No", there will be no offline debates etc, as I like to think I'm already blocked by you and have no wish to discover differently.

Batter up!

<Wanders off to find this "Halloween" thread I've been hearing about.... lol>

Focus.
