Ummm... i hate to be the bearer of bad news but i made the hour drive home on the motorcycle at 8 am on Sunday morning in the shit. But yeah, gonna hafta get the garage straightened around so's i don't have to scrape the windshield every morning.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr as I sit here freezing thinking of the horrors of winter in Michigan..... blaaaaaa I am such a cold wimp.
It's high 40's and the heat is on, I am in my very sexy fuzzy slippers, and warm sweats...... someone warm me up!!!!!! lol

Don't think of it as the horrors... think of it as the wonderful beauty of Michigan. Shoot, i was out in short sleeves weeding in my flower garden yesterday afternoon... gotta love a nice fall day!

Colasanti is my dad's mother's name... we are distantly related to them.

Okay. Today my mom was off to get an endoscopy, I was off to teach. The phone rang at 7 am, mom saying shakily, "Don't be scared, we were in an accident, come take me to my test." Evidently there was a HUGE deer. There was a van in front of my parents' truck. The deer is fine. The front of the truck is stove in.

Mom got her test, I DID get to work, and got hold of someone to let my class know, and now that I have had a lovely omelette, I am going to lie down for a freakin NAP!!!!! This kind of thing is just exactly why I am NOT A MORNING PERSON!

Oh I'm glad the accident wasn't serious (aside from vehicular damage).

I miss autumn! Is anyone willing to collect some leaves and send them to me please? I'm feeling a teensy bit homesick for the sights and scents of the Michigan autumnal splendor.

ok, it's coming............ I heard rumors of *shudders* snow flakes for the start of this next week, and high temps in the 40's.
Camille, I am willing to personally deliver bags of pretty leaves if I can stay there where it's warm until Michigan thaws out again.....lol
I don't wanna get out my flannel lined jeans, parka, themal underwear, and boots ( not the cute sexy ones, the heavy lined waterproof ones)

maybe if I can't hear about it ......it won't happen? lol

I'll be watching with interest to see how that works out for you! We are supposed to be going to a bonfire/hayride party this weekend....and they are calling for a major storm....50 mile an hour winds, temps in the mid 40's and heavy rain. I got a feeling that it's gonna be a little damp in that tent and it might spoil the fireworks. Dang!
