Hello. I do hope that I am putting this in the right area… Please let me preface this by saying this is not an ad for myself…my question is at the end. I am feeling a bit muddled/ confused/ confuddled at the moment. I have been a member for a length of time, and have not found much of what I am seeking. I am seeking a Dom in my age range. I am 26, and I am primarily looking for someone within the age range of 24-40. My question is….Where are all the 30 year olds? I try not to judge based on age, but I have spoken with a few young Doms--and while they were fine…they were just not what I was looking for. On the flip side of the token I am often inundated with messages from the over 40 crowd, which I am happy to get, and chat with a bit, but I am not looking to start something with someone that far out of my age range. This is not meant in anyway to disparage A/any that seek someone younger or older than themselves, on either side of the D/s dynamic…it’s just what I am seeking and feel comfortable with. Now, I do realize that living in Florida is not the best place to meet the young and the restless…but some? Somewhere? This entire state can’t be retirees? (again...not that there is anything wrong with them...i am just not looking for that.) So…again my questions: ( I am having a little trouble wording this correctly, so please bear with me…) Why does it seem that CM and other sites have floods of people 18-23 and then 45-60? What happened to the 30 somethings? Thanks for any speculating… ~anne

Well, Anne, I hope I can be a token of change for you. While I'm not 30, I'm on my way (28). This is my first day on the site however and my first realization that this life is for me (or really has always been me). Hopefully, more will follow. -M

Mostly, I'm betting all the 30-something doms are off with all the 18-something subs, having a grand ol time. I'm 34, but I'm far too bitter and cynical and jaded for my age. ;)

marieToo... i am. Recently i have expanded my search out of the state, but i think this is limiting as well? sighs Many thanks for the suggestion, though... ~anne

It's been my experience that a lot of those 30 year olds have been hitting up the 40 year olds too. Just sayin...

I'm in my 30s... Though I'm feeling more switchy lately. NazjamRa, Are You having similar problems, then? i have a theory that goes a little along this line. It is probably completely off base, but i am thinking that the younger crowd is here for fantasy material. The mid-twenties and the thirties are having their families, and the older crowd is divorcing and horny. It isn't at all flattering to those that are NOT playing around, but with what i am getting...this is the theory i have developed...sighs Thank You for letting me know that i am not the only one! ~anne
