LOL....kind of crass....that was My opinion, it didn't come from an ad. nor a blog but indeed from reading. If indeed we use your standard then it is applicable across the board. The Savings and Loan crisis cost the U. S.  about 124 BILLION DOLLARS.  But, let's not confuse anyone with facts.
I have yet to hear an ad. from Obama even mentioning the S&L crisis nor McCain's ASSOCIATION with Keating.

SB, growing up in my house we did mostly red. Sunday night in front of "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom" (Oh Jim, watch out for the 27 1/2 foot long anaconda) followed by The Wonderfull World of Disney (or whatever it was called). Popcorn and red. We were in tall cotton. Good times for sure, but I'm still mad at Hoyt Axton.

ROFL...My dad used to make fun of that show. Jim would be wrestling the gator from hell and Marlin would be up in the chopper goin' oooo Look out Jim. Dad would look over at me and just laugh and start chanting Fuck you Marlin, I quit. Catch your own gaweddamned gator you old fuck.

Purple koolaide all over the carpet. Every time.

The thing I love about Colbert... He's a little like "Beavis and Butthead" were to the average MTV viewer... they were funny, but the target demographic had no idea how cruelly they were being mocked. Same with Colbert and republicans. They think it's on the level, and they just don't see how he's mocking everything they stand for.

Funny, yes.
But kinda pathetic, too.

But you know, the OP's comments really seem to lack "truthiness."

I was the oldest too. Used to spray my younger siblings with the hot stuff while I waited for it to get cold. Then I got my drink, lured them in and got them really good with the cold cold water.

Jesus! What are you, some kind of sadist or something?

Ahh.... never mind. Dumb question.

Yes ,Colbert is so good that Tom DeLay actually posted a link on his "Tom Delay defense" website, of a piece Colbert did "defending and sticking up"(not) for DeLay.

But the Colbert piece was just the opposite. It mocked Delay and his strangeness, and Delay didn`t even know it!

It was brilliance rewarded.

More Colbert brilliance.
