Status: offline 		DISCLAIMER: I do plan on seeing a doctor about this problem if it persists or gets worse. The reason why I have not done so earlier is because my student health center is closed (due to staff illness, WTF?) and my insurance would make me pay in full for a doctor's visit if I was to go without their referral. I'm asking this to get comfort in the meantime or to know if this warrants an emergency room visit.

Okay, on to the content.
Alpha and I have been working on stretching me out for fisting for the last couple months, and slowly but surely I felt like we were making progress. We haven't read books or attended demos, but through this process I've been reading up on these lovely boards and sharing member's techniques with Alpha.

Sunday morning we were having some good times when he told me he'd like to keep stretching me. He got four fingers in, his thumb and then when it came to his knuckles I was surprised to feel something give, then unimaginable pain. At the same time, it felt amazing, which I've been told is what I can expect. He stayed in me for a few moments until I indicated that I really couldn't take anymore. As he pulled his hand out, blood followed and ruined a pair of good sheets. It was more than I've bled from anything in a long time... enough to cover my hands and make the bathtub look like a gruesome murder scene (okay that's hyperbole-- it was a little less than 1 cup total, it just always seems like more). Now, two days later, I'm still spotting quite a bit (think light-medium period). Nothing I've read so far about fisting has addressed this issue, if you know of any please post the resource. I realize that it's not supposed to bleed, but are there different expectations for your first time than getting regularly fisted?

One theory that I have is that my hymen might not have ever broken, just stretched-- losing my virginity wasn't painful and I didn't think much of it. Could the blood be from that? If that's a stupid theory, just disregard it. Today I risked a glance at the area and it's mostly still swollen/bruised, not surprisingly. Yesterday it was uncomfortable to walk so I stayed in bed most of today, and that helped a lot. oh yeah, and Alpha seems to be enjoying singing "Like A Virgin" everytime he asks about how I'm doing.

What are everyone's thoughts on this? If I need to be smacked over the head and punted into an emergency room tell me, but please, be gentle. I'd feel ridiculous trying to tell a nurse on one of those hotlines the situation.

no other symptoms except for some soreness, which dissipated yesterday, and hurting a lot when I pee, which is also dissipating. The only problem now is that I continue to spot with blood throughout the day.

I didn't call initially because I was worried that the nurse I was talking to wouldn't know about fisting and all I'd get was advice to not do it ever again and to just go to an emergency room, which I'm not sure I need to do. Though if it keeps up and I'm unable to see my doctor, I am considering giving a call and seeing how it goes.

Status: offline 		Have you gone exploring with a good light and a mirror? I would look for any signs of tearing. If it is hurting a lot when you pee that suggests that the tear is more external....or possibly you could have torn into your urethra (which would be quite serious). If the tearing is small and external a few sitz baths should give you some relief from the pain. Little tears can feel really big....especially when you get pee on them...lol. A cup of blood is a LOT. A couple of tablespoons would make a huge mess of your average bathtub. I would definitely get in to a doc as soon as possible.

Status: offline 		I bled a bit the first time I was fisted.  But then I bleed after rough sex also.  I'm sure you've been to the dr's by now.  Please update up when you can.

If there is a next time, make sure you are relaxed and whoever is fisting you uses non latex gloves.  Lube is obvious, but if you squirt a lot, it tends to wash away the lube.  There is no such thing as too much lube during fisting.   Take your time, enjoy and remember the Kegels....

Holy shit 1 cup is a lot. lol I was just in the kitchen and to verify what I thought to be true, I looked at a measuring cup, and I definitely didn't bleed enough to fill it. I'm not just saying that to make it less severe, I'm honestly no good with cooking, lol. Now I'm gonna say less than 1/4 of a cup. Sorry to be all dumb-ified, it's too early in the morning. As for the possibility of a tear, I just got out of a shower and did what you suggested. With the swelling going down I can now see a big fat tear in my labia which will most likely scar, and it extends further than I can see. So, it's either that or something equally gnarly, let's just hope the student health center is open today.

He didn't use a glove but if we ever get around to trying again I'll let him know to use one. At the moment Kegels are a little painful but I think they're the key to getting back on track after this. Thanks for letting me know about your first time.

Sorry to hear that you got damaged during your fisting attempt.  It sounds like you got a pretty good tear.  I would also, based on your discomfort with urination, be a bit concerned about a UTI. 
You're right about it not necessarily being a usual thing.  I don't recall any bleeding. 
I think fisting rocks (Have only done it a couple of times but loved it) and, for another poster concerned about tightness, the former bf I shared the experiences with dubbed me 'elastogirl'; stretching out needn't be permanent.  I would imagine if you did it a lot, there would be more permanent modification to fit but as an occasional thing, stretching ought only be temporary.  I'm rather snug; don't let fear of no longer being snug dissuade you from trying it. 
Anyway, were I having your symptoms, I'd drink lots of water (Consider water and cranberry juice together to try to ward off UTI's), leave the area alone for a bit, and go tothe doctor as you noted you intend to do.  If you get a fever or any such, ER immediately.  I'm guessing it's as simple as a tear and you'll be fine in a few days but please do update and let everyone know you're okay.

I know with anal there is no such thing as too much lube, and we have played with many different mixtures until we found one that was manageable and sufficiently slippery enough to make us both happy. Would vagina fisting also require the extensive lubrication???
