It could be the Mammy Yokum dialect in the cartoon Li'l  Abner who was the matriarch of the family and when things were a finality.. she would hold her finger in the air.. corncob pipe held tight in her teeth and proclaim "I has spoken!!!"  It's simply a colloquialism.

(I predict Obama will by a 2-1 margin)

2 to 1?  Electoral votes maybe.  I think our country is really much more divided than that.  I'm just glad that I am not heavily vested in stocks right now.

And... I want the Armageddon of the Republican party. I want to see those bastards reduced to a tiny little pile of rubble [sm=evil.gif] . They can regroup later with better priorities and a nicer philosophy [8D] .

I remember that.  My Dad used to love that comic strip.  There was another one too, Pogo.  I don't remember much about it but I do remember it was very political and I think it was a spin-off from Li'l Abner.

If that was the reference then my apologies to BountyHunter.
