Baring divine intervention, it looks like Obama’s night. Ah Well… To all the Obama supporters: congratulations. I hope you’re right about the man, I really do. Although it is too early to be sure it looks like the Democrats will not reach that all important 60 seats in the Senate. That’s a good thing. Every Administration needs some sort of brake on it.

Yikes! But then I think CNN is also a case of Yikes! I like to switch back and forth between the two. I figure between those two extremes I can divine at least some of the truth some of the time.

At this point I think it’s McCain who needs the miracle but I hope you’re wrong about the assassination thing. As much as I distrust that man I don’t wish death upon him. I fear you may not be wrong, though. Right now a lot of klansmen and militia types are cursing and throwing cheap bottles of beer at the television.

It would indeed be fascinating to see if the people who squawked – or defended – the Electoral College last time suddenly reverse their positions. Oh, who am I kidding? Of course they will. Politics brings out the worst in people – starting with hypocrisy.
