VICTORY!!!

I'm all better... well mostly.

I can pee like normal, and walk like normal... eat like almost normal, though i'm less hungry...
I went and spend a couple days at my parent's house and I guess it healed me, or something...

I'm feeling SO much better... it's like, a miracle.

I did end up doing a second set of monistat treatment... I did a one day this time, and it seems to have worked.

I'm so excited to feel human again... now I just need to get my boyfriend to go to the doctor for his (probably) bronchitis...

While your boyfriend is at the doctor, it might be wise to have him checked for a yeast infection, too.  Sometimes men can be carriers of the infection and not show symptoms, but could pass it right back along to you.  He probably doesn't, but just to make sure....since you had such a severe one.

many many years ago i had a very bad yeast infection and the doctor suggested a sitz bath with warm water and baking soda.  i thought it was odd, but it seemed to work.  also she suggested the warm water rinse after using the toilet.  i've never had one as bad as that since, but i keep these and alot of the other suggestions that have been made here in the mental file for future use.  just because one thing works this time does not guarantee it will work the next.  best defense is a good offence, keep yourself healthy and do what you can to avoid them in the future.  proper care and feeding of your best girl friend will ensure years of fun for all!

I find that when I drink lots of water, and eat fruit, it helps clear up my infection. I also wear only cotton underwear. I don't care how sexy the other stuff is. Also, loose clothing is good as well.
