speaking of colonic did anyone ever have a colonic enema [:)] those are truly awesome for those that want to get really cleaned  out [:)] usually lasts a hour ...you are hooked up in a room to a machine with a tube that goes up your butt about 5 in in length ..then she starts the machine up and your constantly being filled up and flushed out until the water is pretty clear ..the lady monitors the warmth of the water and how your doing and feeling and after your done boy do you feel good i must say [:)] and very clean too ..toward the end she puts in some minerals to the water to get your balance back in shape but a colonic can be fun to do i must say [:)] have fun mal

I do actually mal [:D], I have a colonic irrigation every 3 months, great not only for the colon, skin, stress/wellbeing, hair and all bodily functions in tip top shape [:)]

Ah well, all this falls comfortably into the category of "bridge to be crossed when arrived at" for me.  No sense in doing your homework till the night before the essay deadline, as I've always said.

The cramping with enemas depends on the person.  If you are Me, for instance, the pain is exceptionally bad.  Some folks have no problems at all---and in my observation, men have less trouble.  A small, plain, body temp water enema should be no big deal.  The Fleet ones that you can buy readymade are really all a person would need for a pre-play cleanout.

i have my own 2 qt water douche bag ...dont like the fleet kind ..never thought they got me clean enough and i love being clean for her [:)] cramping for me only happens when i use colder water or put in some kind of soap ...plain mildly warm water is what i use the most and i have no problems at all [:)] even better i think when the lady gives the enema too ..kinda sets the stage for submitting to her i think early on ...but most times im clean for my lady once she walks in the door because thats how she likes to see me [:)] clean inside as well as outside ..smelling good ..and naked of course [:)]  have fun mal [:)]

People over-estimate such things, imo.  I also think, for any sort of anal play, realizing that it does serve another function and being pragmatic about it helps.  Don't let that hold you back.  Basic hygiene and, oh, a former boyfriend had a bidet installed in their house, so enamoured of anal play was he: if you've got bidet access, all the better.  :>

Not to be crass but even the most diligent of persons, if indulging in anal play, is going to have a rustic experience at some point or another. 
I noticed you're in the UK, so you may well have ready bidet access.  Fingers, soap, and that lovely upward bidet trajectory are magical for cleaning. 
I know people who use enemas; perosnal preference.  Haven't ever, haven't ever had a partner either. 
Had a colonic once.  I was unimpressed as was my bf (Who was the one with the spiffy bidet). 
Lay back or bend over or lay on your side or whatever your Lady prefers, and enjoy; it really is a wonderful thing!  :>

rustic experience  - an admirable turn of phrase, Davan. [:D]  I think you're a couple of hundred miles out regarding the prevalence of bidets, however.  They're widespread in France and Spain, so I hear, but not in the UK.  I'm sure I can rustle up the imagination to improvise, though.
