Officially, I've used red/yellow/green. When I'm flying in bottom space, I tend to forget those and skip straight to very basic communication though. For example,  "motherf*****r!" has been known to slip out as a yellow, and "do that again and you're a dead man" has been heard as a red, lol. Both times, the other person read those for exactly what they were meant to be...probably because the tone of my voice changed enough to reflect that I was no longer having a good time.

hahahaha  lmFao.  TOO FUNNY!!!!

MarsBonfire -> RE: what is your safeword? (3/12/2009 8:16:20 PM)

"Lawsuit."

(Also, most of the clubs I've gone to, use... (are you ready for this?) "safeword."

subbisherri -> RE: what is your safeword? (3/12/2009 9:01:58 PM)

My safeword has sort of evolved, now it's a two-part word, "doxie glitch." Both words spoken together clearly mean stop, undo me, this isn't working, I feel ill, etc, but essentially the scene is over and I want out. "Doxie" by itself though means hold on, something isn't working, you need to stop what you're doing but I don't want to end this so we need a bit of communication before we go on.

If gagged or otherwise verbally incommunicado, I resort to a "rule of threes." Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action...
Anything done three times is the signal to mean stop, I need to say something. That something might be my safeword, or maybe just a need to say something important (um, I have to tinkle?). It might be three finger snaps, three stomps of a heel, three big head tosses, whatever; three of something that can't help but be noticed.

No safeword play, now that's a whole different and exciting subject...

"Platypus".

Lordandmaster -> RE: what is your safeword? (3/14/2009 8:51:56 AM)

She has been instructed to say "Thank you, sir" when it hurts, but I usually don't stop.

Disestablishmentarianism or Deoxyribonucleic.... I’m easy.

trappedinamuseum -> RE: what is your safeword? (3/14/2009 9:32:43 PM)

"purgatory" for "Hold on; we need to talk about this"

"Xibalba" for "Do it again and you're gonna lose that arm"

Never actually used 'em though.

MissJanice2 -> RE: what is your safeword? (3/15/2009 8:21:12 AM)

We do not have safewords, but if I see discomfort or blood, the scene stops immediately.

"Uh oh.  We need to call 911".

smokingnoir01 -> RE: what is your safeword? (3/24/2009 2:35:37 PM)

The first Mistress I have had was a gf and we spoke about words that we thought were just great words. So she used "Bou-fant" and I used "Gazebo" I say this because she had a hard time giving up after I said the safeword, so I would say "Boo" (which is easy with a gag on) or "faunt" anyway, it was like everything just stopped in a heart beat and she knew the pain was too much.

LadyAnnabelleLee -> RE: what is your safeword? (3/29/2009 1:30:47 PM)

Mine is 'Bob Dole' and my husbands is 'Oklahoma'.  I came up with mine years ago, because honestly that guy is a  scene stopper.

BKSir -> RE: what is your safeword? (3/29/2009 1:33:51 PM)

To get me to stop, "coleslaw".  Nothing makes a scene freeze in my eyes, like the urge to make sick all over the floor.

servantheart -> RE: what is your safeword? (3/29/2009 2:53:06 PM)

Don't have one with Sir, but when my (ex)husband and I were attempting the DD thing, it was "pancake".  I don't think I'll ever look at IHOP in the same way again.

lameduck13 -> RE: what is your safeword? (3/31/2009 5:36:12 PM)

The last Domme I had, had this system:

For Numbness: (Limb name) Red,Yellow,Black  Red=Stop release limb, Yellow=Loosen Limb, Black=Tighter damnit!

Discomfort: (Location) 1,2,3,4,5 1= Can't take it anymore, 5=more god damnit!

When gagged: 1-5 snaps # see above.

Goddess2002 -> RE: what is your safeword? (4/12/2009 4:08:50 AM)

The safeword with my former slave was "dolphin"...I wanted something far removed from the context of what we were doing, so there would be no mistaking it.

I came up with it when my slave took me shopping at Hermes, and we were looking at neckties with dolphins on them. He purchased a tie, and was instructed to wear it to work each Monday.

Kaiel -> RE: what is your safeword? (4/12/2009 7:27:04 PM)

We don't have a safe word in My home.

I'm just getting involved with my very first dom.  We don't really have a safeword yet I just say that's too much and he stops whatever it is that he was doing and then we talk a little so he knows what it was that made me tell him it was too much.  It seems to be working well so far; I'm sure we'll come up with a safeword once things progress further.

My safeword is officialy frog.  I came up with it I figured something competley random and something that hopefully won't be easily confused with other words and sounds that go on.  The orignal communication was ok however I often say no or stop even when I don't really want it to just that reaction to things that are intense so.
