I read about Crowleys sex Magick..but that is it.
And I had some of his quotes in my profile once..and people did contact me because of that.
SO I suggest mentioning it in your profile and journal. (if not there yet)

Love is the law, love under will.

Greetings Sir ShadowHawk and welcome to the boards. I'm sure you'll find others who incorporate sex magik in their BDSM lives and their vanilla lives also. Being Wiccan myself though I haven't explore the using of sex magik mainly as I'm a solitary practioner and just naturally kept that aspect separate from my kink activities!

Blessed Be on your journey.

I never did go down that road, but the possibility is always there.  I'm not sure what working I would do that would combine all those elements!

In certain forms of Western Ceremonial magick there are ritual involving multiple people..sd in an orgy.. and Another called The Rite of the Heirodule that is a Female Dominant/Mistress as Godess, and her slaves as Priests and worshippers of her Being Primal and lorded over them in love .Lots to research and find with in alot of the old bits of sex magick.. Just hard to find those who participate in and practice them.

Aszhrae -> RE: Pagans, Ritual sex, and BDSM (1/3/2009 3:51:59 PM)

As my situation is becoming more and more something that requires my complete attention. I am finding an ever-increasing need to trust in the goddess. It has recently come to my attention that in this time that I should just succumb to the will of the goddess and lose my self in an endeavor that I have put aside because of the current master's dislike and resentment of my beliefs. The endeavor of compiling my Book of Shadows. Just have to find the binding materials that I have some where in all my belongings to physically construct the book itself.
The greatest problem that I need to remedy is the investiture of self in the mistress that not only accepts my beliefs but also accepts the focus of my investiture of the whole of my being.
In the mean time I will have to focus my self on my faith and the goddess whose name is my nick that I registered under here in CM.
Cernunnos answered my prayers when I met my first mistress. With first mistress, found that are intimacy always resulted in SM play. Feral play actually. We found ourselves in that frame of mind of primordialism, instincts took over and mistress and I were indeed the vassals of the first deities, Animism without inhibition.
Aszhra answered my prayers when I met my current mistress. Now it is time to put my trust in her again.
There is some significance in the fact that I have nine months ahead of me.
The three trinities are to be considered over the coming months.
Other may reply with their own skepticism towards such belief and will no doubt be met with atheism. I will do my best to strengthen my self against such attacks that will be an attempt to instill doubt and weaken my belief.
I shall make it the focus of my will in complete obsession.
Cleanse the mind. Open my self completely in spirit to the goddess. Subdue the needs of the body.
Awaken my true self. As it has been dormant for a long time.

Hello SirShadowhawk

I am a solitary pagan who follows the Goddess Pele. My late husband and i were involved a lot into sex magick, but we were not into BDSM. Late hubby was who opened my eyes to paganism, and my trip to Hawaii is where Goddess Pele came to me.

The first thing that interested Sir about me was that I am a witch. We do not use sex magick at this time. He is slowly getting back into the old ways of paganism.

bright blessings

Welcome and Blessed be from another pagan. Sex magic and BDSM is a potent combination; if Master and i ever do a ritual which includes sex magic then there are bound to be elements of BDSM within that. It's not something that i'd be prepared to discuss publicly though - you know the old adage to know, to dare, to will and to be silent. If this is something which interests you though, I would recommend reading some of Raven Caldera's work.

For those wishing to get at the mystical heart of Ritual sex and Magick.. which i believe can be incorporated into BDSM.. are..

Love Under Will..Sexuality, Magick and Liberation by Phil Hine...and..Demons of the Flesh by Nicholas Schreck

Aneirin -> RE: Pagans, Ritual sex, and BDSM (1/3/2009 4:49:27 PM)

Personally, my inclination is to keep the two things, bdsm and personal belief/religion seperate, at least in the early stages of relationship, for simply, delving into belief, delves into spirit and there the mind, where without understanding and a complete control of oneself experiences can mess with the mind.

Fine, if one can in what they undergo feed the belief within themselves, but keep it to themselves and enjoy the experience, but to use bdsm as a basis to explore the unknown, is a very dangerous thing to do and it may lead to abuses not agreed to, but for it excuses may be made.

SirShadowhawk -> RE: Pagans, Ritual sex, and BDSM (1/3/2009 5:30:55 PM)

Well im assuming that any explorations are consentual..Yes some can not handle or endure it whether its seperate from the actual practice In BDSM.. but for those that are spiritually aware and capable.. it could be worth the effort..Magick can be transformative ..it can change relationships.mold thought patterns. Thats why i posed these questions here

BondageBarbieX -> RE: Pagans, Ritual sex, and BDSM (1/4/2009 1:40:59 AM)

My MasterDaddy was an initiatory Rosicrucian and followed Aleister Crowley and  the religious philosophy known as Thelema.and he was into sex magic. The Daddy that I serve now is a Germanic Pagan and follows Asatru/Odinism.

I am a Vodoun-oriented pagan with satanic leanings.  I've dedicated to K*li, the Horned God (Pan, Bacchus, Kernunnos), Ogoun Badagris (and the Mars aspect of him), and am in the process of dedicating to the Maitresse Erzulie.I have always been LHP in my spiritual beliefs -- always found as much validity in the "bad" parts as the "good". The hand that wounds can also be the hand that heals. I prefer to have a choice.
Yoruba, Santeria, Vodoun -- they're all in a really similar vein. It's rare to find someone to talk about them, though, at least for me here in Oklahoma.
And ...there on the difference between a Satanist (OMGZ Black Masses r00l down with Xtianity!!!11) and a satanist (someone who pursues their own betterment above and beyond all else). One is a religion (i.e. involves worship) and one is more of a philosophy. In fact, you could say that a satanist in that sense worships themselves, if they can be said to worship anything.

As a solitary practitioner, I am of the same ilk as bear, though I do invoke the goddess before any scene and always include  spiritual aromas in My candlelight moments.  As for sex Magick, magick is the very core of what I am, be it sex, be it good fortune and blessings.

Blessed Be.

Aneirin -> RE: Pagans, Ritual sex, and BDSM (1/4/2009 8:44:14 AM)

I invoke my goddess in lots of things I do, when I feel pleasure, I think of her.

SirShadowhawk -> RE: Pagans, Ritual sex, and BDSM (1/4/2009 8:58:23 AM)

Yes there are various Gods /Goddesses that one can invoke.. From Eros and Bacchus.. To Aphrodite and even Lilith. Sex,pain.pleasure.love.and all other forms of erotic feeling can be brought in.. thats what im striving to learn about and add to my lifestyle

Blessings.  I agree with CatdeMedici.  Magick is the very core of who and what I am and is present in all aspects of my life.  While I don't practice "Sex Magick" per se, Magick permeates my life to the extent that it does have an affect.

If I ever do add a specific Sex Magick ritual (the Great Marriage in my belief) that would definately be something not to be shared with others.

Blessed Be.

SirShadowhawk -> RE: Pagans, Ritual sex, and BDSM (1/4/2009 10:05:05 AM)

As far as The Great rite.. i think i would exclude it from my BDSM pursuits only in that it is an Act of sacred sex.. One representing ourselves and our connection to God and Goddess..BUT ..outside of that.. other forms of sexual expression can be brought in .. in my mind. Think of a Dom and their sub , when they are in a scene and lets say the flog is being used.. To me that can be a form of energy raising, that could be used towards a certain magickal goal.. It depend really on how you wish to incorporate it in your Lifestyle i guess

i totally agree with that.

I walk daily with the Goddess and God. It is my expression of who I am and who i serve.
