You'd have to define bad. Is bad being taken for money? Is bad being asked for money but luckily some were too smart to hand it over?
Is bad being hurt when you find out there are multiples?

What exactly defines bad? Is bad knowing you were taken for a ride when most you know of a person you find out was lies?

There are a great many predators on the internet. People need to be wise with everyone they talk to.
Perhap's this thread can mutate into a thread that teaches others what to look out for?
It has become pretty clear that what you see on the internet should not give you a warm fuzzy.

All I am is a person looking in. I've been involved in nothing. Yet, it pains me when I see good decent people taken for a ride. Especially within this lifestyle.

People usually know what to look out for. That feeling in their gut. The problem comes, as I think at least some of the people involved can attest, when you stop listening to your gut and listen to people telling you you are "paranoid" or "too insecure" when it is not your normal condition to be either. When people "make you crazy" it's usually for a reason. But, some of us are romantics and want to believe the best about people, so we choose to doubt ourselves before we would ever doubt someone else.
No experience in life is ever a waste. Im really glad to see that attitude being taken by those who have been affected.
The truly sad are the people who dwell in the negativity and do not move on with a life lesson in tow. Who knows, maybe he-whose-name-is-unspeakable will take something from this too. Let's hope so.

I totally agree with you MH we see things the way we wish to see things. But, nearly half of the people who have responded to this thread have been directly affected.
Meaning something has happened to them but they didn't air anything on the board's they stayed quiet. Now are coming forward.

So we can educate ourselves to look out for general warning signs. I've never personally met anyone on the internet yet who is good enough to fool me for any length of time.
I certainly have no perfect way of seeing through people. I just listen to what they say. Ask the same questions over and over. Analyze the things they say. Question on what doesn't seem to fit correctly.
Time frames they are online I keep track of. This of course for potentials when I was searching. If they aren't around on weekends, I'd ask why. I'd also check out the story to the best of my ability.
I've always considered myself something of a romantic as well but first and foremost I've always protected myself as well. As I always tell people, always value yourself first. The right dom is going to want you to do just that.
There is much to be learned from any situation on these boards. We just have to want to learn and not turn a deaf ear to it.

Wow, so many stones, so few glass houses?
Katylied, I am sorry, you deserved better. I loved your company, I loved your friendship, I loved every minute we spent together, but I was not in love with you. If I mislead you.....I AM SORRY!
Your friends, Noah and Heather, I apologize as well. Only because I hurt your friend. I apologize to you and it was not intentional.
Katylied and myself will be friends again, but we both need to heal now.
Quivvver, does hypocryte ring a bell? Troll? Hmmm, who wanted to play and not tell? Not just me!
HappyPerv..what can I say...you and Sub4Hire need to get a room! Neither one of you knows what you are talking about and you both rattle on like a GreenPeace Soldier saving a whale....Geesh! Get a grip dood! Sub4Hire, get a life!
Half the people on this thread have been affected by me? I have been with one other, other than Katylied.
One and you may speak up without retribution from me if you desire?

IrishMist, I don't want to rub any salts in anymore wounds, but thank you for being you!

To anyone else who has a comment. Check your sources, check your conscious and check....take the fucking check. I'm tired of paying!

Peace, as always, Kevin

Sigh, it seems I must clarify now. Play and not tell? It seems selective hearing is once again at fault. Although I am NOT seeking a *cough* Master at the moment I am human, and I do horribly miss SEX! It was YOU who have hounded me since I was kind enough to befriend you when YOU went to play SWITCH in Calif to come and kneel at your feet. It was you again that Lied over your age and other things, It was you that I tossed in to the Troll bucket and it was Katy who talked me back into your friendship. The selective hearing was when I was weakening, yet asking for the Clarification that Katy, your Sub was aware of you seeking another if for no more then Play. It was also you who always changed the subject, all but once when you said "ask her"... I did ...
what I'm glad to say is I didnt fall for it, my GUT held out, and btw, thanks for the chicken..............
edited to add that Yes FastLane did buy the Chicken, KFC to be exact.
and that I am very sorry I felt the need to stand up for myself.
I believe the record from the Fast Lane speaks for itself, I'll say no more here.

I would agree. Even I do not have the whole story, only what I have learned from Misty and from what I have read here. At the same time though, I believe that the only ones who should be discussing this are the actual parties involved. Everyone else is just going on heresay....he said she said...it can go on and on.

The bottom line is though, that none of this really concerns anyone except for those intimately involved. Too be slinging mud only makes you look bad in the eyes of others.

Oh my. It is like being in middle school again. A bunch of girls being snarky about someone. And then patting themselves on the back using the excuse that they are helping others by making this an object lesson.

And over what is all this snarkiness? Two people's happiness? Yep, there is a good reason to be so small-minded and belittling about them.

Sheesh.

How immature can we get? What is next, fart jokes? Good heavens, before that travesty occurs, I hope that there is some mental attitude readjustment and some social graces learned.

Damn, there is the Pot in here, the Kettle, the Skillet, and the Dutch Oven - it is not a forum board anymore - it is a kitchen.

IrishMist,

Congratulations. I hope that the two of you are happy togeather and that this completes something for you. Ignore the viscious utterances of these so-called-ladies. Remember, "Living well is the best revenge." -George Herbert

Fastlane,

ceterum censeo fastlane esse delendam ("Therefore, I conclude that fastlane must be destroyed") Whoops, I guess that call to action on Monday got taken a little to seriously. Please accept my apologies for the unintended consequenses. Cannot wait to see you at fergus's soiree, and I will even let you play with my taser to make up for this.

Well, I am off to get a rootbeer float. Anyone else want one?

Before the stones are thrown again and I run for cover...."thank you."

I would quote from the bible at this point, if I had ever read it.....hmmm, note to self..buy a bible and read!

This thread needs to die, because it is hurting people that shouldn't be and lies are being cast from people who know nothing better to do.

Goodnight JohnBoy, Goodnight Happyperv, goodnight moneys, goodnight Darwin......goodnight my Love!

So, good night to you all and good riddance to this thread....I pray.

Where the fuck is my bible!
