Yes, I actually prefer significantly younger men.  There are a couple of rare moderately younger exceptions.

Since the age horse is dead   I thought I'd add My two cents  on us older Dommes.

Inside every older person is a younger person -- wondering what the hell  happened.
- Cora Harvey Armstrong-

Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out. But I can usually shut the  bitch up with cookies.
(Unknown)

I refuse to think of them as chin hairs. I think of them as stray eyebrows.
- Janette Barber-

Old  age ain't no place for sissies .
-Bette Davis-

Thirty-five is when you finally get your head together and your body starts  falling apart.
- Caryn Leschen -

And one of My personal favorites, which unfortunately, I'm not able to credit the author:

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather  to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a  ride!"

Ever think that might be because some of us aren't here just to get laid?

Yes, most women by the time they pass menopause have no interest in getting laid. Fortunately there are exceptions, but they are hard to find.

Well, I can't speak to that personally.  Trust Me.  I'm not looking forward to menopause, only to the reward of no more buying tampons at some point in My life.  Since I haven't gotten there yet, I can't say how it will effect My sex drive, though I could certainly see how some could use it as an excuse if they were married to someone they didn't find particularly sexually appealing after spending a few years together.

I can attest that menopause has made me hornier than ever.  Unfortunately i am in an area where the choices are extremely limited.  Who says god isn't a joker?

It would be nice to have my Domme be a life-partner and maybe even have a family someday as someone mentioned.  I realize that may be impossible with a significantly older woman.  However, that doesn't mean that I don't want to seek meaningful, long-lasting relationships with older women.  I'm young enough that I have time to experience the joy of a relationship with someone of any age and still have time to "settle down" if a situation presented itself.  I could see myself being happy in a relationship with a woman 15-20 years older than me for many years.  If you knew that a relationship would end in 10 years but that it would be the best relationship you've ever had, would you still enter into it?

Now, that *is* a reason I would avoid a younger man.  The attitude that an older woman would be hot for as long as it lasts, and then you've got plenty of time to have your real life and family, your real primary relationship, with someone younger.

Young men want to be taken seriously but sometimes, they do not take older women - or dominant women of any age - seriously.  Some view older women and/or dominant women as so exotic and foreign to themselves that they do not relate to them at all; to them, these women are an experience to be had, a place to experiment before going back to their real life.  This attitude makes you very careless with another's heart.

LadyPact, I know someone who quotes this passage all the time.  The author is Peter Sage.

A younger man actually told me this once...   That if he decided he wanted a family later, he could find someone for that.    Needless to say, the conversation didn't end pretty.    Just kidding...   I rather admire honesty like that.     M

I had to respond to this -- Honestly, if you can find me someone who only wants 5 or 10 years of my time, I'll be on it hell-bent for election. I prefer moderate-term, renewable but not binding relationships. You may not find many like me around, though. *chuckles* I don't -want- forever. To me... whew... torture!!!! (And I don't get into being tortured, except for piercings and tats).

Mike, both thanks and you're welcome.

Lockit, I have to admit, the "hotter than ever" thing made Me think hot flashes, too.  Not to laugh at anyone's discomfort who's made it to that stage in life, but I think you put a great spin on it.  The idea of the boy fanning with grapes in hand was a nice touch.

Geeze, I feel like I'm nutrition girl...but I helped my sister stop those hot flashes - Black Cohosh. If you look it up, you'll see it's great for this. Just an FYI...

And selfishly...my question...last one one age...any particular feelings on female subs and age? I'm truly not sure the other way...younger dommes liking older sub women...and I'll just guess (please correct me if I'm wrong) but you don't mind a strong, independent sub woman whatever age do you?

I'd genuinely like to know if this is an issue I should think about in those dommes I approach. Thanks.

I approach women in a totally different way.  I have always wanted a young girl for a sub!  But, I really don't even think about a female's age, it's all her personality, etc.

I know nothing about the offline drama that seems to be lurking behind your comments on this thread, and I don't want to know, either.  However, comments like this don't strike me as a good way to ingratiate yourself with dommes who are 35 and older.

35 and older and everybody taking menopause... GAWD, I don't think I'm hitting that just yet, but I was pretty clear even in my teens and twenties that I wouldn't want children or a family, women do have that choice now, thank heavens due to contraceptives we have the freedom to decide if we want to breed or not!

I am not a Domme. I have had men in their 20's who are Dominant as well as in the vanilla world who want an older woman.
My cut off is about 36 and even that is a bit young for me. My feeling is that someone in their 20's still has a life to live and
should enjoy as much as possible with people closer to their own age. I know that age is just a number and some people are
more mature at 23 than someone who is 40. I wish the OP well on his journey.

As I grow tired, slow down, ache, wrinkle and sag and allow what gray I may; will you find me sexy?  Will you look at me with the same eye’s as you did when five years before there wasn’t so much of all that to look at and touch? Will you find me dignified and sexy like those handsome male super stars or will you be thinking of those healthy older stars with three thousand a month to continue to look young until they are stretched so tight you could bounce marbles off of their faces?

When the lil one’s of the family come to visit will you mind being called grandpa because you are with grandma?  Will you introduce me to your family and will we find acceptance when you let them know you are plugging the old broad?  What would you do when my same aged lil one’s wonder why you are with their mom and answer the questions of all our loved one’s and friends?  Will you understand what the medical professionals describe as age robs me of my youth and will you bring me my walker… prepare all the meals that Meal’s on Wheels brings or make it for us?  Will you look into my eyes when that adjustment bed has you all twisted like I need it and want to hold my hand?

What are you willing to give up and do when your lady is much older than you?  Will you stand there with the same I love you’s or will you walk away fast, when youth has passed and learn the reasons some no longer seek five years of long term and want the rest of their lives; literally?

When I cannot meet you on the straight up mountain you wish to climb and I only wish to watch you… when I can no longer dance the night away to some metal band and am more ready for night’s of leisure… when life and time have taken their toll… will you still think I’m the sexy hot older mama and want some of that or will you think it is time to move on to someone who can play more, do more and has more life to offer you?

Sure I might be somewhat hot and enticing now… but how long will that last?

Locket,
Thank you so much for writing this. As a 51 year old woman who had not one, but two 21 year old subs, I can appreciate this. Although, at times, they were hard pressed to keep up with ME <s>

This post brought tears to my eyes.

edited for brevity and to remove the innocents.

First of all your grasp of history is sadly lacking.  Had that been the last incursion, there would be no reservations in the west and the war against the Natives would have ended.  Nor would there be the kinds of problems whites have foisted upon Natives,  or the terribly debilitating results either.  Thousands were killed after that, with women having their breasts cut off and uteri cut out and used for pouches and hats, and children bayoneted, and all forced from their homes, and lives they knew.  Lets not even talk about the theft of their possessions that so many made much money from, or the remains that are still in museums and private collections with their spirits still roaming.
Secondly, you must be assuming i am as racist as you present yourself to be, looking for only a white man, and as with so many with your faulty sense of humour, i am finding less reason to look at them among the other myriad rainbow possibilities. I was lucky enough to have been raised colorblind to skin.  Seems you weren't.  Counts you out as any kind of possibility as i already left one otherwise very good relationship because he was a bigot.  Well not so much because he was, but because he delighted in making jokes and comments after my telling him not to, at least in my presence.
Thirdly, I just shot the pizza place owner to ensure you will never come here, but he too was a racist, so he had it coming, although since discovering his racism, i stopped frequenting the place anyway.  As i do with any business that harbors such sentiments.

I could go on, but even if you are too dense to get this, everyone else will.

I'm seriously not a fan of binge drinking or indulging in too much booze, but it seems so odd, a person is old enough to join the army and get killed for his country, old enough to get married and raise children, old enough to vote, etc. but not old enough to decide he wants a glass of beer?
