Yeah, ya know, I'm not a cat person and never have been. But I wanted a pet and we don't have the right environment for the type of dog I'd want so I "settled" for a cat. Of course I love her mean ass

and now I finally "get" all the cat jokes. She fits these things to a "T." She sleeps on top of the computer monitor, ambushes me, kneads the covers....pretty much everything this joke "warns" cat owners about. It made me laugh so I thought I'd share..............luci

I have experienced the cold, callous and sadistic nature of cats firsthand when my female furry ratbastard lay across the top step (two flights up) in my house one night which resulted in a fractured shin for me and my naked arse becoming wedged between the wide-ish pine bannisters as I fell over her and down the stairs. She's chocolate/black and my carpet then was a very deep brown so when the fone rang, I couldn't see her as I raced to go down the stairs to answer it. She's never been a cuddly cat - it was malice with intent

My son has forever been blighted by waking up that day to my screams and seeing me upside down with my backside wedged in those bannisters. The worst thing about it is that he had to use his foot to push me back out again!

I'm surprised either one of us are still here.

My beloved football-shaped Meenu does some of those things, but most times, she is too lazy to mount such attacks. She'd much rather have her neck and tummy scratched because if she kills me, she no longer has anyone to buy her kitty food. I get to live by default. LOL

My Kittah loves me, but hates my boots with a passion. She drags them back to her "lair" and gnaws them... I was impressed, considering she is a tiny cat, and they are knee high platform boots.

How is his therapy going? Does it look like he may be able to recover some day and live a relativly 'normal' life?
