My husband lived through the christian-muslim civil war in Lebanon.
Can you top that for education?  Why don't you educate me a little more on how they fight than he did.
Why don't you educate me on how bombs sound hitting only meters away from you.  Or why don't you educate me on how it feels to go to sleep homeless and hungry.
Or maybe you can explain to me again exactly how they've been fighting for thousands of years in the middle east... especially the last thirty, better than he can.... or his father or uncles who fought in the war.
Maybe you can tell me exactly the way they live in the middle east now, since I haven't been there myself.

Please... I'm so ignorant.  Please educate me.  I have no idea what it's like...

Status: offline 		So,,, I guess you've been to the middle east too?  Maybe you've lived through a war?  All of you people who act so superior from your knowledge from books and websites have nothing to back up your words but what other people wrote.
When you've actually lived the war, you let me know.  When you've actually fought for what you believe, instead of just talked about it, you let me know.  When you've gone hungry because your father is off fighting to protect your life, you let me know.
When you know what it's like to be careful of what you say because someone might come and put you in prison, you let me know.  When you're afraid you might be targeted or killed because of your religious or political beliefs, you let me know.

Until then, why don't you go put your nose back in a book, or read another nutty website about how we over reacted to 9/11.
