I got into the habit of feeding my foster's wet food 2x's a day (morning & night) and that's still in effect even after I adopted J&J. My 2 new babies were only fed wet food a couple times a week but I put them on J&J's schedule because they're so nervous and the food brings them out more. Hopefully they'll realize as they see me feed them this good stuff that I'm trustworthy & will eventually let me pet them while they're standing still.........[;)]

I just brought my cat in. The neighbors cat has been camped out at my place. ...when I petted him- my cat got snippy. LOL.

One of My cats is tracking a moth that got in the house. Another cat is watching Our baby rescue squirrel, Foamy, as he cavorts around his new tri-level cage that Daddy got him last night. Another cat is knocking stuff down. Another cat is helping with the laundry by laying on a stack of neatly folded clean pants. Another cat is chasing a bone. Apparently the thing was trying to get away from him just now. The other two are sleeping.

They are all out cold, bellies full of food. I'm enjoying the peace and quiet! Gave them some catnip earlier.....oh Lord...it was fuuuunnnnnnny! They were rolling all over the floor, little eyes dialated and then they got the munchies! If I could have only found my laser pointer!

The Girls are out on the porch because it's finally cool enough to open windows and leave the front door open.

She - Maggie - is exploring her new home. I have just brought home the most adorable 3 month old kitten, she is mainly black with sandy and white "sprinkles" all over. [:)] Pictures to follow

Thanks Mystic and Soul! Soul, I am well aware of being truly owned, I'm not so foolish or naive as to believe it's the other way around. Over the years I've learned to just relax and not fight it, all that achieves is total exhaustion and I end up giving in anyway [:D] Maggie is settling in nicely; she is such a sweet kitten I think she is going to end up being one of those cats who loves everyone. It'll take a while - she was born outside near Blue Bonnet's horseracing track - but it's coming along nicely. Right now she is looking at me from the "safety" of the window.

Right now all 4 of them are stalking something that I couldn't find.....probably some poor bug that squeezed in under the door...which is good, cuz bugs aren't allowed in anyplace I'm in!

Gypsy! Nice to see you posting again[:D] H&J are still exploring w/J&J right behind them. I'm so glad that H&J aren't hiding under the couch. They watch me interact w/J&J and see I love the furbabies. I hope they let me pick them up soon.

Lily decided to test my limits again this morning. She knows she's not allowed up on the kitchen counters, but has to check every now and then to see if that might have changed. It didn't, and she got shooed down as usual.

I cooked up a steak. My cat is not hungry- but I set the grease out- the neighbor cat is lapping it up. My cat will eat birds- rabbits you name it. meat grease in moderation wont hurt them. Today weather is picture PURRfect here in Pennsylvania! So of course- outside to get fresh air. I did some laundry-= but too late today to wash up the bed covers....

was gorgeous here.. but now it's getting on the warmer side of comfy for me. HOWEVER... the Girls are loving the porch access, so I havent the heart to herd them in and turn on the a/c. Gracious is occasionally nibbling at the wet food. Amos apparently doesnt like the turkey any more than the catfish. But dammit!! ANTS found the catfish, liked it, and are now exploring the house.... bastids.
