I don't think I could do that with da Boyz. They weighed 20 & 22 lbs when I brought them home. It nearly killed me to bring them into the house from the car, even though I brought them in one at a time. But the boy upstairs could probably catch a lightnin bug or two for them. I'd turn off all the lights & see what happened. [:D]

I have one of those stacked washer/dryer sets..

Cashew has a thing about trying to open cabinet doors (as was shown earlier in the thread)..

I just saw him trying to get the dryer door open...lol

Amos is just staring out the window...

thank you Charne and tolovetolaugh....I remembered it all the time that he was born on 7th of july last year, even in the days before but on the day itself it slipped my mind completely until about 11pm [8|]

I hate here that my cats arent allowed to sleep in my bedroom and I sneak now more often 1-2 cats upstairs, but its a no go with the birmans as once Urmel locked himself in at one room and then rebelled at 6am....where my dad wasn't impressed about...

so last night I had to chuck out summer and gosh did she complain outside about having to be outside...it was heartbreaking...its really time, to hopefully soon move on with my furrys to have back a normal life...and at least the other 3 can sleep at my bed sometimes....always depending on what dad is up to the next day...meaning, how risky it is that he finds out.

Charnegui -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 7:39:39 AM)

As I mentioned before, my beebs are sleeping together, and if they get the chance on my belly [:D]

Charne, your babies is da cayootness!!!

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 9:05:30 AM)

Charnequi: What cute babies! And what a great shot--they look like they're watching TV.

Since Ms Overzealous Busybody doesn't work on the weekends, I let Angel out for a while to enjoy the sunshine, grass, and fresh air. She didn't stay out too long, though. I guess it's already too hot for her tastes, though it will be far worse later this afternoon.

Misty is curled up on my bed and all comfy.

Charnegui -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 9:22:05 AM)

Honestly, that's my spot.
They wanna be with me in the evening and come to sleep on my legs.... Made this pic with my phone ;)
It was the only thing within reach at that time.

Thank you for admiring my furries...... their ego's are skyhigh at this time [:D]

GreedyTop -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 9:28:33 AM)

windchymes -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 9:54:12 AM)

They both were sleeping right before I snapped the picture, but Penny opened her eyes and looked around at the last second!

Don't you melt, seeing them this way? I do.... everytime over and over again....
What a blessing it is for my not existing kids, they don't have me as a mum...... [:)]

My upbringing would suck, big time.  *giggles*

windchymes -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 10:10:54 AM)

This was a daytime photo, trust me, the dog sleeps on my lap whenever she gets the chance! The cat, however, is a little strange, no surprise for a cat. She does not like to be held, but loves to be petted, and she never tries to get in my lap. She will sit or sleep beside, but never on.

LinnaeaBorealis -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 10:16:05 AM)

Mr. Cat didn't get on my lap very often either, but I just figured that was because he knew how very big he was & he was being compassionate. But he would sit next to me on the couch all evening, then we'd go to bed in the queen-sized bed & he'd sleep on his side & I'd sleep on mine.

GreedyTop -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 10:47:47 AM)

one of the things I love about my fuzzybutts is that when I get home from work, BOTH of them are at the window.. whomever (grammar?)\is NOT on the back of the chair is doing the Meerkat stand to look outside...

GUARANTEED to make me smile, no matter how crappy my day might have been.....

windchymes -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 11:28:03 AM)

My cat ALWAYS and without fail hears my car in the parking lot and is either there to greet me as I'm coming in the door, or she is coming down the stairs. And whenever I walk the dog, she sits patiently on the bottom step and waits for us to get back. She's so sociable, for a cat. Other ones I've had pretty much did their own thing.

Today, I was eating a bbq pulled pork sammie for lunch, and she came over my shoulder to beg some, lol.

LinnaeaBorealis -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 11:35:08 AM)

I am very fortunate that da Boyz don't seem to perceive my food as something they might like. Except for butter. Pookie loves teh butter!!! I had a cat who I raised from a kitten who never wanted to eat anything except for dry cat food, even though the older cat ate people food when he was allowed to. I so love how cats can have such different personalities.

windchymes -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 11:42:58 AM)

lol, I think she learned it from the dog, who is the worst beggar ever! When it's treat time, she comes running right behind the dog. That stuff she gives the dog is yummy, I want some tooooooo-eeeowww!

When she runs, it's funny....when she got spayed, it left her with big, floppy skin over her belly, and it flops back and forth when she runs. She's not overweight at all, nice size, but just big, loose, floppy belly. I kinda feel bad and hope it doesn't bother her....

girlygurl -> RE: What is your cat doing? (7/9/2011 12:33:50 PM)

Let's see if this works. This is my Sassy girl. Taken a few years ago during a snow storm. I have lots of current pictures of her on my phone, which I'll have to ask Sir to download for me. I lubs my girl.
