KB's sitting here snatching licks of my maple walnut ice cream every time I put the bowl down.....he can't wait for me to finish. At last, he can have the bowl!

Every one else is off playing rug in the windows....it's gorgeous here, 80 degrees with a nice breeze, so they are all draped in the windows. Such rough lives they lead!

Well time to update as im sure everyone here has been worried. I have been busy and am now all healed up from the gallbladder surgery. Mystic stayed off my tummy unlike i thought she would LOL. Other than that they Kittehs have been their normal selves going vroom alot and such. other than that all is well and UM is getting big im at 170 lbs now and ready to have her i have about 6 weeks left before doc. will let me have her. other than that whats up with everyone else?

Glad to hear that you're healed from you gall bladder surgery.

Mystic must be a much better kitty than Misty. I actually had to put a light tray on my tummy after my abdominal surgery to keep her from jumping on me.

I got my second certification in January, then a new job in February, and am now getting used to working outside of the home again like normal people do, instead of being cooped up inside all the time. I was on the verge of losing my sanity!

One is asleep on top of the computer (no matter how many times I remove him from there). Another is asleep on the desk next to the computer and the other one is chasing his shadow (I never said he was the brightest one I owned). lol I love my cats... they are great entertainment at times.

It's warm up there.

My kittles... hmm.. good question. Don't see either of them right now, so my guess would be one is either in the bedroom snoozing or out hunting for self propelled toys, and the other is probably outside and may also be hunting. They've recently graduated from lizards to kangaroo rats for the self propelled toys, though they haven't figured out quite yet that the stuff they catch outside is generally pretty tasty to kittles. I can't wait til one of them catches a rabbit and brings it inside.

It is good to be healed.

She is pretty good about things like that. she knows the bounds of when to walk or pounce on mommy and when to just curl up near or tread lightly on mommy.

I know the sanity feeling because the closer i get to my due date the more i feel like i am forced to bed rest BLECH.

LAst night, I left the front door and windows open (no screens) and got a bunch of crane flies and moths in here. Binx had a time playing catch.

Darn Angel. She will often sneak out when I take out the trash. Last time I didn't notice and the poor thing was outside all night. This time, I noticed, but she had better get her butt back in the house before I go to bed.

Thank goodness when i leave our front door open it is an enclosed porch so if midnight or mystic try to sneak out all we have to do is chase them around the porch and they go right back in the house. Midnight is easier because you crinkle his humpty dumpty toy from his food and he comes running.

other than that im at the library again trying to get this work finished up and its a drag.

Angel looks bummed. A stray bug got into the house. She chased it for a while, then swallowed it. The fun is now over, as there aren't any other bugs in the house to chase.

My kitty Patches, is sleeping beside me on my bed with her paws resting on my leg. She is a black and white tuxedo with calico streaks all through the black.

she's four months old, finally stopped raining long enough for her to discover the outdoors

outdoors includes frogs that hiss, lizards that lose tails, butterflies that can fly higher than she can reach, seed pods that she CAN reach, big areas of grass or pathway to absorb sunshine, flying beetles, baby hoomans that taste like sweet melon and like the rough side of her tongue and rain.

life is a learning curve for baby cats.

My kittles are now curled up sleeping, snug and warm on the cat tree. Thankfully, it's been a few days since either of them brought a mouse into the house. Or a lizard. Or any sort of bug.

I guess I'm lucky. Angel just kills lizards and leaves them on the porch. She never brings them in the house.

well to our unknownness Midnight might have discovered that there is a cat or possum or something critterlike upstairs since the old neighbors moved out because he meows and looks at our roof when doing it and its been making thud and thunk noises for the past few nights.

other than that Midnight killed a fly last night and between him and mystic they cornered a mouse on the basement step which got caught in our crappy traps so now we gotta get better traps asap for the other mice that are hiding LOL so as they trap them near the traps we can get rid of the mice and such with out having kittehs carrying them around as prizes.

the good thing was that i found this mouse because of tripping a breaker cleaning yesterday otherwise it would have stunk the house up worse with its rottingness and mystic was trying to tell us for probably a week that it was dead and caught because she was laying between the fridge and the basement door like "look through here we cornered and caught one."

Now that the weather is getting nicer, Angel is asking to go out more. I was hoping she was becoming more of an indoor cat, but I think that was only temporarily during the winter :(
