Angel is enjoying her holiday tuna feast. On Christmas, New Year's Eve, and her birthday, she gets a foil packet of tuna as a special treat.

Squirt just forgot about 'softpaws' and now I am bleeding from his welcome home attentions.

Amos, Cashie and Cubby are doing the invisible thing right now.

Mine are not really impressed about the snow here....sooooo many birds in front of their eyes....as they are eating from the food we supplied to them....but they are just out of reach for them....cause when they go out they know they dont get a chance catching them....and waiting for them for another time just doesn't make sense when it is that cold out there

My fascinators with feathers arrived today. Angel is intently sniffing the box, trying to figure out where the feathers are, but the fascinators have been secured in a place Angel can never reach.

Pepper was outside at midnight on wednesday for two hours (according to my partner as I was at work overnight) and when she returned she threw up heavily soon after getting in and then was just not the same anymore....she wasn't keen on her treats and lied right next to him during that night (she usually does not do that...she either lies in her cat bed or on my feet....)

When I came home thursday afternoon she was still not her lil happy self... she was very obviously in discomfort when I hold her and whilst she did drink out of the sink in the bathroom (her habbit) she did not jump off it....nor did she jump off the toilet seat, when I placed her there afterwards (I wanted to double check her back legs, as I had the vague impression, that she had problems with them)...

So I called my partner at work and we agreed that she will have to go to the vet....so after his job was done he picked us up (appointment was made) and the vet assumes, that she got hit by a car actually....due to different signs she showed us (according to her, the split claws are often a sign when cats claw themselves onto the street whilst running off in panic or when they hold themselves due to panic)....she could not feel any obviously broken ribs and her tummy also remained soft, but she had a bit of a temperature and she took her blood and gave her antibiotics (in case it is an infection instead) and a painkiller via an injection...

Once we got home, she was "normal" again....she jumped up and down stuff and was very keen on her treats and ate other stuff.....thankfully....

Today we called the vet back (yesterday we have had public holiday over here, so a lot of stuff was closed) and she told us, that her blood results were actually so bad, that her muscles were about to burst very soon....

So now she got another painkiller injection today and from monday to friday she will get 2 tablets per day....

I hope she will be fine again by then....but am just glad, that she appears to be much better than she looked like on thursday, before our first trip to the vet....as we were really scared about the outcome

Strategically planning to take over the world. WAIT! isn't that what all cats do?

Seriously, humans make hairless breeds, like the Spynx cat, and then make them wear really ugly sweaters to keep them warm...would you not want to get even with someone who did that to you?

Mine is curled up on my lap, breathing her satanic breath over me every time she yawns.
