Kit, KB is partial to Hawaiian bread, which is a bread that's sweet. I don't know if you have it in your neck of the woods, but it's really good. Whenever I get any, I have to share with him and Squeaks, but it can only be the crust of the roll. I guess that's because there's butter on it or something.

My guys all have pretty varied tastes when it comes to food. Squeaks and Bit love pudding, lemon and butterscotch, KB will eat maple walnut ice cream, Boo likes whipped cream, Moochie isn't so much into people food. They'll all eat greasy fried chicken, but is I cook chicken breasts for them, they turn their little noses up at it. And of course, they only like certain kinds of Friskies gooshy food. And that's only on certain days of the week...one day, they'll eat it, the next, not so much. Keeping up with it all is getting a bit out of hand!

Poor Angel got soaking wet! I knew the water restrictions have been eased and the home owners' association can turn on the sprinklers more often, but I didn't know they changed the watering times. They used to water around 10:00 P.M. and sometimes as late as 1:00 A.M. Today they were watering at 8:00 P.M. Poor Angel was outside in the middle of the lawn when the sprinklers came on unexpectedly. When I opened the door, she was rather annoyed and quite eager to come back in the house to dry off. She did not appreciate her surprise shower at all!

Awwww, Mystic.....that's just too funny! Don't tell Angel I laughed...wouldn't want to add insult to injury.

My guys were just freaked out.....there must be a ball game downtown because they just had some fireworks going off. Bit jumped up in the window and was actually watching them, Moochie, on the other hand was all freaked out. Boo just looked annoyed. They were able to hear the banging because it's cooled off nicely here...about 64 degrees, and I opened all the windows. Of course, I had to endure the "FRESH AIR...OMGOMGOMG!" laps around the place. but everyone's pretty much mellowed out now. Mooch is up by me now looking around somewhat concerned about the noises he heard.

Needless to say, the 4th of July and New Year's Eve aren't very popular with my kittehs.

my darling spooky has decided that he's going to rip holes in the screens and jump out the windows. he just jumped out the kitchen window. time to replace the screens with metal, not nylon.

I won't tell her you laughed. Her feelings are already hurt, though. When she came in the house looking like a drowned rat, Misty saw her and smirked. It serves her right, because she smirked at Misty when she took her not-so-graceful tumble the other night.

Rose, I learned a long time ago that nylon screening isn't much better than paper.

Altho, I had on cat that would pull out the splining material in the frame, and simply slink out that way. Ended up covering it with duct tape.

Sneaky little stinkers, ain't they?

Peeing in the corner.

They're snoozing away on this rainy Easter Day. If I didn't have laundry to do and bills to pay, I'd be joining them.

I'm laying in bed & she's sleeping on my feet. She knows her mum is sad.

Misty has finally forgiven me for yelling at her this morning. She jumped up on the table and knocked over a glass of orange juice onto survey forms for a workshop I was giving. I was already running late but had to turn the computer back on and reprint the forms. She also splashed some drops of orange juice on the check I had received from the insurance company for hail damage to my car, but it was still cashable. After yelling at her, I realized it was an accident and she didn't mean to do it, but she wanted nothing to do with me. Tonight I'm back in her good graces, LOL. She HATES it when I'm upset with her.

Mine are hanging out in the windows again.....KB's here at the computer. It's a glorious day here, so I have the windows open, and kittehs are playing rug on teh windowsill. The place I'm moving into won't have this many windows, but it has a patio that I'm going to screen in for them, so they can go outside and still be safe. I'll plant some oat grass out there so they can have that....well, once I find a place to get either the grass or the seeds. It's a pretty big patio, so they'll be happy.

Pretty has moved her kitten to live under my front steps. HE IS SO CUTE!!! Just at the 'eyes open, exploring' stage. I have tried contacting a feral rescue org. to see about trapping/fixing rehoming them.

soul2share -> RE: What is your cat doing? (4/12/2012 6:10:00 PM)

Greedy, if Pretty will let you, start to handle her little one. It will make getting ahome for it so much easier. Mama brought two of her litters to our area of the building, and she let me handle her babies. The down side was they didn't run when the handyman and landlord found them, but they were taken to animal control, and I'm hoping were adopted since they were kittens and used to being handled.

Mama's pregnant again, I'm trying to find a vet who will give me something to dope her with before the litter is born so I can get her down to get fixed. There's a local place here that I can get it done for free. Ihave another little female and her brother that have to be done, and Bit needs to go down too. Because the ferals have all been caught before, they won't go near a trap, hence the need to dope them.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (4/12/2012 9:05:36 PM)

I went to let Angel in about a half hour ago, but she was in hot pursuit of a small snake. Thank God, it got away from her. I was so glad that when I opened the door again, Angel didn't bring another snake into the house.
