GAWD, I SO need a video camera!! Cashie is trying to kick the shit outta water jug that has been outside for a few days (I use it to water an outdoor plant, and the lawn maintenance guys have just been by...). HE is swatting at it, hissing at it, and doing the GREAT HUNTER stalk thing!! It's friggin HILARIOUS!!! (edited for transposed letters...)

Ruby was very wary & shy yesterday, even up till lastnight. But this morning, she is back to her usual self. We had smooches from 7:30am.. all the purrs, headbutts, and demands of pets you could imagine. I kept nodding off and she kept pawing my face to get me to continue. Got her booked into a cat-only vet to get her belly/bottom hair trimmed since it got matted in the wet carrier.

Poor Misty. When Angel goes outside more often, she take out her predatory instincts on outdoor creatures. Now that she's been staying inside due to the heat, she doesn't have an outlet and likes to stalk and pounce out at the only thing that moves in the house, Misty. Misty finds it quite tiresome.

We took Ruby to the vet this morning to fix her coat. She got a belly & a panty clip to get rid of a few matts & knots. Her belly feels like velvet. She is not happy that I have discovered this.

Angie is sulking around the house, looking for the "kittens". We managed to trap three of them today and they are now at Animal Services. Pics are on my facebook timeline. Let me know if you want to look.

Sirrah is prowling round the study trying to squeeze herself into the bookshelves, get on top of something or otherwise go to sleep in/on somewhere she's not allowed or is otherwise difficult or chaos causing. Situation Normal.

Angel is on the window ledge in air conditioned comfort, keeping an eye on her "subjects" (i.e. my neighbor's outdoor cats) until it is cool enough to go back outside and put them in their place. Misty wishes she would go outside and just leave her alone.

Weenie is in the house, on her side of the electric cat door, confusing the hell out of a new neighborhood cat, which can't figure out why the door keeps going up and down, over and over, only to each time reveal a pissed off, spitting Weenie on the other side!

Spicy remains staying away, but I was informed from another house mate, that she heard that he ate a few times at a person just a few houses down the road who also has a few cats.... damn independent cat [8\|]
