So we're sitting in bed and then we hear this strange 'tapping' noise. No, it wasn't our secret hidden slave trying to communicate with the outside world. Ruby had found a cork out of a wine bottle and knocked it down the stairs, so it "bounced" down 15 stairs. It even surprised her because she was running down the stairs to get away from it!

Angel must be in a generous mood this morning. I came home to find both her and Misty snoozing on my bed. When I'm not around, Angel will often chase her off the bed. Just to be mean, because there's certainly enough room for the both of them.

My cat is sleeping on my other computer, just at the edge of it so she will fall of is she moves another inch, and then of course blame me if she falls off it is my job to make sure her insane sleeping positions are perfectly safe. :P

Gobbling down singular spaghetti strands as I hand feed her from my bowl. She's a good girl, she'll accept what I give her from my food if I am in the mood to or make herself scarce if I am not. No beggingh, no whining, no grudges. Such a good kitty!

Last night we had the para-medics in.

Turns out one of them was a Cat lover. Just as well as a)Turi savaged the EKG machine's leads, b)Morphy tried climbing in the first responders kit, c)Turi AND Sirrah climbed in the Ambulance, d)Sirrah climbed on the back of the Ambulance having been shoo'ed out of the wagon.

The Paramedic insisted we do a head count before the Ambulance and First Responders drove off ;-)

(All OK, Wench in over night for more tests today but its nothing life threatening. Thank FUCK for the national health service and free at point of care treatment)

My cat is long gone, but this reminded me of a cat's fascination with tinsel and shiny stuff.

my three orange tabbies are all sleeping in sunny spots all over the house. i would love to trade places for just an hour or two so i could get a really good comfortable nap!

Maude is sleeping on my clothes making them full of cat hairs, I guess that will teach me to carelessly toss my clothes on the floor. :P

The year we found tinsel in the litter box was the last time we put it on the tree.

Angie has just finished the testing of the laws of physics for the night and is curled on the bed waiting for me to get off the computer.

Heck, I don't even have to toss my clothes on the floor in order for Angel to get a hold of them and get them full of cat hair. If I leave the hall closet door open, she'll go in their and pull my sweater coat or cape off the hanger and lie down on top of it. I have to be extra careful to close that door tightly so she can't go in, but I forget.

Mine are in a state of bliss right now, I brought home cat scratchers from Wal-mart, and popured the 'nip on the floor for them....Squeaks is currently spread eagled on the floor, Bit is sitting on one scratcher, having claimed it as !HIS!, and is playing with the ball thingy and rolling in the 'nip.....he can seriously multi-task! They've all eaten their food, and oh, wait...Bitty is stalking KB, so there will be tom-foolery in about 3 minutes.

Squeaks just looked up at me and her pupils are so big, there's not much blue to see......yep, totally stoned!

Angel definitely loves the smell of fresh leather. I bought a new purse today and she's been busy sniffing it for the last several minutes.

Angel is lying in the garden outside, getting her white coat nice and dirty. Misty is enjoying having time to herself without being stalked and pounced at.

I don't have a cat but Daddy's is probably scratching at his door whining to be let in. We've recently started letting him in to fight moths (or, as we like to call them, disinfo agents) when I'm over because I'm scared of them and he really loves it. It's hilarious to watch, too!

CAshie is snoozing on the ottoman, and apparently dreaming, because his whiskers are twitching in a REALLY cute way!! LOL

AMos is guarding the sofa from any intruders that may try to get in through the window....
