Curry got some malt paste some weeks ago as he seriously struggled to throw out his hairy stuff....now....he wasnt impressed at all when I gave it to him....but well...it hanging on the side of his mouth, he pretty much had to lick it....he got treated 3 or 4 times that day and he appeared much better....now throwing up for a while...

one day it started again and Frank was at home so I wanted to show it to him that he does not like it at all...but after all it helps...

well....cats just never do as they are told...cause on that occassion he voluntarily ate it...and even took 2 or 3 afters of it ...

Now I was wondering if he actually started to like it (as according to amazon reviews some cats seem to do) and offered it to him again about 2 days later....well...he was not interested....and I did not force it onto him, after all...he showed no signs of distress at that time....

So it really seems that Curry figured out that he hates that stuff but it does a damn good help on him....at least thats my explanation why he is taking it now voluntarily when he feels unwell....but refuses to take it when he is fine....

and there are still folks out there who believe that cats are dumb [8|][8|][8|]

My cat is making yet another mess by scooping all the kibble out of his dish. Then he's going to meow to tell me that he's out of food.....

LP and RS: So sorry to hear of your losses.

I have not felt up to posting recently because I was hospitalized for pneumonia and flat on my back for a month. Then, I was transferred to the rehab facility to regain my strength, but picked up a case of C.Diff and was sick for a week, then quarantined to my room for 2 weeks. I have finally been able to undergo physical therapy and should be going home soon.

Unfortunately, Misty passed away while I was in the hospital, just 10 days before her 18th birthday. She had chronic renal failure and had not been doing well, so it was not a total surprise.

LadyPact -> RE: What is your cat doing? (2/28/2014 7:05:13 PM)

I'm really sorry to hear that. On both counts.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (2/28/2014 8:15:07 PM)

LadyPact: Thank you.

Pepper starts learning to his now....at the "tender" age of turning 7 in april [:D]

It is too cute, as my partner F realised some weeks ago, that she can't hiss...but now, after she experienced some hissing between her brother curry and the cats on the bottom floor of this house, she started to do so as well....once briefly...when I hold her lightly against her will....and then properly [:D][:D][:D] Damn that was cute....but now it stopped again since a few days...am curious when she will do so again...

On another note she had a nightmare today...as she kept growling in her dream [:D][:D][:D]

Beside that, sorry for all the ones who lost their lovely furry family members....[&o]

Thank you, Phoenixpower.

ARIES83 -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/8/2014 4:45:47 PM)

I Admit:
Saw a band play last night.... Was glad I wasn't down the front, as the lead singer seemed to be trying her best to shake her sweaty hair on on everyone in the front row...[:'(] apart from that, wasn't to bad. Not to shabby at all. I like female vocalists.

anniezz338 -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/8/2014 4:51:04 PM)

My cat likes to eat the hairspray out of my hair. He will get on my shoulder and if I won't be still, he digs his claws into my scalp to keep me still.

He thinks he is the dom of the house. [:D]

ARIES83 -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/8/2014 4:58:04 PM)

I Admit.... This appears to be the incorrect thread....
Hmmmm.... Not sure how that happened.

jlf1961 -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/8/2014 5:23:30 PM)

It is not my cat, however:

The neighbor (home about 90 yards from my fence) has a white Persian. This hell spawn of a creature treks across and jumps the property fence, a foot outside the dog fence mind you, and slowly walks back and forth driving the dogs crazy.

SweetAnise -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/8/2014 5:26:37 PM)

Once again sleeping...shame...I would love to report more activity. [:D]

FieryOpal -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/9/2014 12:15:37 AM)

A photographer-friend of mine just posted this on his website, and it's so adorable, I had to share. Plus my former mother-in-law collected anything with an owl motif, and it reminds me of her.

GreedyTop -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/16/2014 8:45:42 AM)

Cashie is snoozing behind me, on the back of the chair. Amos is being offended for some reason on the desk. Squirt is blissfully snoozing on the back of the sofa, and Cubby is waiting for an invite to play.

This is the most serene I've seen ANY of them in about 3 weeks.

I am doomed.

SweetAnise -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/16/2014 8:50:50 AM)

One is sleeping on a chair under my table and the other is cleaning herself near an open window.
