Sorry about Misty, Mystic...I know you loved her but if she was in pain, perhaps it was better this way.

Now...I got a few cats...I am always threatening to bop them with a BB gun. Mom does not want any pets. Momma kitty lets me pet her though, Roughy thinks I am evil and Mixed (white with orange markings) is always meowing at me to feed him. I am expecting another litter soon unless I can catch Momma Kitty and have the vet fix her.

Mine are sitting in two individual boxes presently doing. .. very little, apart from giving me a little comfort knowing they are there.

Her Highness, Boo Boo, is giving her self a bath on the couch.

Nemo won't pose for me lately and tries to chew on my cell phone instead. Pic will have to wait.

We're sharing a Greek yogurt. He makes funny, slurpy, raspy breathing sounds when he eats, almost like a kitty version of humming.

Thanks, Shahar. Misty was not in the best of health and it was her time.

While I was in the hospital and rehab, I had some renovations done and got a new pillow-top bed. Angel is just thrilled with her new bed and rarely leaves it.

Squirt is curled up on my lap, and is enjoying my 'flavor' as usual (he is constantly 'grooming' me).
Amos is curled up on the arm of the chair.
Cashie is head-butting into a plastic bag (he's my special boy...)
Cubby is playing with wiffle golfballs in the tub, if I am interpreting the sounds correctly.

So you also joined the 2+ cats humans now....lol...

Mine are just asleep as usual....as Frank started to buy them sheba they became quite picky, foodwise, now...

Last year I told him "be honest...you feed them this stuff, that I am not able to afford them anymore, once I move into my new place..." but well...that doesn't matter now....since I am living with him...lol...

And even with Sheba they are quite fussy which ones they want and which one they don't want....or...pepper to be precisely...curry couldnt care less what he is eating...

Currently they are learning to clean their plates properly before getting new food...cause Frank was too generous in filling it up again soon, but they know now "mommy" aint sorry until it is cleaned properly...though it was cute, how they tried and then had to gave in [:D]

Because of that we also changed their plates now from tiny even plates (where they kept hiding their leftovers underneath it) into huge ones with a wall along....so now the floor remains clean and they can't hide any unwanted left overs...

On another note I keep reading more about barfing....as Curry loves raw food...though for pepper it will be a challenge to get there as she is just not quite sure yet, what to do with a raw piece of meat...and most of the time she does not get any further than to lick a bit on it...or takes a bite onto it and then lets it fall down again with no further interest...

Phoenixpower -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/19/2014 5:18:20 AM)

Curry won today at first when trying to give him again a flea tablet...(though that shit is about to end...thankfully...)

He unfortunately figured out in recent weeks, then when he puts his paw against my hand with the tablet and pushes even his claws out....yep...that makes me move my hand away from his mouth [8|]

Now...today it first went in, but soon later I discovered he spit it out on his pillow [>:] another attempt failed, cause now this soggy remains of this tablet kept sticking on my finger [>:]

Last but not least he got the remains of it as well as a new one (due to his weight he can get a 2nd one when necessary) hidden in meat...only once he managed to still spit it out....afterwards it went right in there [>:]

[:o]

Cute...how did they adopt you Greedy???

I bought today turkey to feed it (next to tin food) to my raw meat lover Curry. I went there again as he went so mad about the beef yesterday, because of which I really think he tasted, that they were much better than the meat from the normal store in the past... and as she told me that they have it on offer today, I quickly decided to take all three of them...so tomorrow we will have turkey for dinner [:)] though F and I won't have it raw [:D]

GreedyTop -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/20/2014 9:03:26 AM)

Squirt was sounding like a mama cat that had lost her litter. (I found him under a shelter of plywood, crying as if the world had died - I thought it was Bibby looking for her lost baby).

Cubby was Bibby's lone surviving baby, quite feral, who I somehow managed to charm.

Detente is not always the status quo, but we are getting better about it...

Phoenixpower -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/21/2014 1:55:08 AM)

Wow, what a story....and where is Bibby now?

Over here Curry went mad last night when he got some turkey meat...so frank could see that he goes more mad about this meat from the butcher than about the one from the store...

he was actually quite funny cause I took the chopping board with the meat on my lap and sat on my bed (as we dont have space for a sofa in this flat) and he sat right next to me....but behaving himself... so I thought "wow...my well behaved cat can even behave well in that situation..." but well...that changed once I dared to touch that meat....then there was no stopping for him....sort of "I keep calm but only as long as this meat does not dare to move..."

After giving him 2 pieces I placed it briefly in a drawer until he calmed down....then again he sat patiently in the same situation with the chopping board on my lap later...until again that damn meat started to move...there was just no way for him to sit patiently down before each single piece....lol....

After that meat has been eaten (gave him only 1/3rd, the rest he will get today) he sat nicely between us, Frank patted his fur....and soon later he hissed big time at him twice, as if he would be telling us "you idjits....now I have been sitting here that nicely and you dont care to give me more meat for being that nice to you....for that reason I will now just go and lie somewhere else..."

It was really hillarious with him....rotten spoilt cats [8|]

GreedyTop -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/21/2014 2:06:57 AM)

I haven't seen Bibby in months :( I'm afraid she's crossed the bridge.

That's a shame...I think the same about spicy by now....and actually think that I saw his ghost twice...soon after he disappeared...as it is just odd that twice I have seen him from the balcony (once or both times with another cat) and when I have been down there on both occassions was no cat arround anymore at all...

Today my cats have a lazy lie in...well...whatelse should they do when the weather isn't that great...

We bought today 48 tins of their sheba food as a store was opened today (unusual here on a sunday) and offered 10% discount on everything...so we got 3 packages of their favourite flavours but annoyingly ended up with 14 of sheba-classic...and Pepper HATES classic...as there is too less jelly around for her likes...so we obviously should have checked better through the package when we bought it...sigh...but well...she will have to cope with it, that rotten spoilt girl...

Despite that we arranged now a cat sitter for our 4 night trip away in april...who will pop in once a day to feed them and to empty their litter boxes...and I am glad that this is arranged now...

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/23/2014 10:19:06 AM)

I think Angel's bothersome boyfriend, Dusty, may have crossed to the other while I was gone. I have not seen him since I've been home, ten days now. It wouldn't surprise me, the way he would lie in the street and make cars go around him. Angel is not the least bit unhappy about that, though I kind of miss the little goofball.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: What is your cat doing? (3/23/2014 7:45:23 PM)

Of course, wearing a deep purple sweater, I am an "Angel magnet." She is curled up only chest and I have misplaced my pet hair remover.
