Woke up this morning to the sound of Misty chewing on my hair again. I thought she likes the products my hairdresser uses, but it seems she's doing it other times now. Lily kept inserting herself between me and the book as I was trying to study today.

This morning I saw one of the outdoor neighborhood cats across the street. I wanted to summon him over so I could pet him, so I was snapping my fingers and calling out, "Here, cutie!" I didn't realize at first that one of my male neighbors was outside his house when I was doing this. He gave me the oddest look and must have thought I was out of my mind. Then he noticed the cat and must have figured it out.

Mac is playing fetch (my cat grew up with dogs and is a little species-confused). And now she's curled up on my feet and trying to convince me that she's incredibly adorable and I should be compelled to pay attention. Hypnotic yellow eyes...so damn cute...must pet... My rabbit, however, is pacing his cage and plotting what kind of devious subversive rebellion he can put into action today to usurp my power and finally be supreme ruler of the apartment. Silly rabbit, coups are for people!

Lily's making up for lost time. She snoozed all day yesterday and didn't even come into the office one time to bother me, but today is in here demanding attention non-stop.

all four of them are lieing around like rotten garbage in different corners of the flat...Curry gave up after a while..he tried to win my place on the sofa bed (which is currently pulled out for comfort whilst doing my uni work)...he decided now to lie in my bed instead...which he thinks would be his...of course [8\|]

Lily jumped about a foot in the air a few minutes ago. There was a sudden loud pop and the electricity went out for a minute. I went outside and saw a spark on the power line, but the power came right back on. Reported it to the power company and they're on their way out to look at it, but it gave both cats and me quite a scare.
