He's lying diagonally across the easy chair, with his head hanging over the edge, and one paw stretched in a possessive warning onto the ottoman in front of him. He is snoring with the sound of an electric knife, on which he crankily blames hayfever when poked and reminded.

He's promiscuously bed-hopping tonight, while scrupulously pretending that I do not exist. I've been ignored by furrier critters than he, no worries there.

My cat is on the dining room floor in a sunbeam. He's recovering from me taking him to the vet today, the poor dear. We're trying to figure out what's up with his eyes. The pupils don't respond to light hardly at all.

I got up at 5:00 A.M. to go to the bathroom and Misty was bound and determined that I was not going to get one wink of sleep after that. She harassed me relentlessly until the alarm went off an hour later.

My birman wasn't very well the last 2 days with throwing up but she seems to be better now (otherwise we will be off to the vet next week) and Pepper enjoys the new cat bed I bought (normally I don't buy cat beds, after all they claim my bed to bei theirs anyway, however with summer expecting a litter over the summer I bought one which would be used for her and her litter in the first weeks) when she spends time in the cat-nursery...however for now...pepper is warming it up [:)]

My neighbor's outdoor white kitty was on my porch first thing this morning, begging for a snack. Misty and Lily are both awake and looking bored, like they are trying to think of something to get into.

Lily was such a good girl. While I read my paper, she sat on the arm of my chair purring and didn't make any attempt to interfere with my reading.

pouting...summer had to go to the vet today due to her daily vomiting since days...gosh did she show that she has enough when she got a 2nd injection...even afterwards she continued to hiss big time at the vet,"a la dont you dare to touch me one more time"...whoever claims birmans would be gentle and easy going is lieing...once back home she moved into my wardrobe...now the next 4 days i have to give her 2 antibiotics per day...gosh that will be fun sigh
