One difference between male Dominance and female Domination.  Males aren't having females submit to them in their desire to 'get back' at the opposite gender.  At least I don't see that.  It may be true in some cases where it applies to women.  Included in that, you have to account for those who seem to perpetuate the myth.

You're completely out of your mind if you think misogynist men don't slap the Dom veil on to abuse women in this lifesstyle. Jiminy Cricket, you're either in denial or just plain ignorant.

I think a MUCH more common occurance is that straight men slap on the Dom label to get some nookie.  That's my point above: "I am Lord HigH Fungus.  You will bow down and kiss my feet." The newbie slave girls swoon simply because they know no better and then end up damaged possibly physically, but much more likely psychologically.

In clear language: not every pedator is a misogynist.

And how many angry dominant women slap a mistress veil on to abuse men in this lifestyle? I will leave off the cartoon charactor assessment.

Andalusite -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/24/2009 6:47:50 PM)

Personally, I think it's mildly pretentious to ask that people who aren't partners/potential partners use titles such as "Master," "Mistress," etc. Master is the archaic honorific for a boy under 13 years old, and Mistress is a likewise archaic long form of Mrs. In general, I don't fuss at people's relationship titles or self-identification, even if it doesn't agree with my understanding of the label they choose. I might say that they aren't what *I* would consider to be _fill in the blank_ if I were looking, at most. Even so, I usually try to only apply that to "people in general who do x are what I consider to be y," rather than arguing with the individual.

Dom's in veils is just an entirely fucked up visual for me.

(My hayud is exploding now).

I've never spoken to a dominant yet who's actually asked for the use of such honorifics and none has complained if I've not used one.

Well, ladies, I don't know about you, but I think it's dreadful that so many submissive men have been treated so badly by society that they don't have sufficient clothing.  The photos don't lie:  nothing but half-clothed, or even completely naked men, all over Collar Me.  Their poverty is appalling and it's time we did something about it.

I'm starting a charity, Skivvies for Subs.  Please send your most generous donation today, so that I can begin to provide clothing for these unfortunate men as soon as possible.  Even a small donation will provide a needy sub with fresh, clean, hole-free underwear.  If you prefer, you may join the Sponsor-a-Sub programme.  For just $30 a month, you can be sure that a desperate sub will benefit continuously from your gift.  I will even send you a photo of YOUR sub wearing the Calvins he needed so badly.

Don't delay!  Send money now!

aidan -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/24/2009 9:18:50 PM)

Hell yeah I need sponsorship. Plane tickets are freakin' expensive.

Give generously Ladies. And gentleman! It's for a good cause.

Lockit -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/24/2009 9:18:58 PM)

ROFL!

AlexandraLynch -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/24/2009 10:12:22 PM)

Don't look at my other photos then, where I am in the clothing of a cook from the 14th century and wearing, as a woman grown up and married ought in those times, a veil. (I think I look very nice in them, and they keep my hair out of the food, too.)

LadyPact -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/25/2009 2:40:35 AM)

Ven and aidan, those last two were just plain funny.  Thank you for the laugh.

Um...can I request something with Tinker Bell on it?  Maybe in a light pink or lilac?  [;)]

I Love Tink....[sm=hearts.gif]

Venatrix -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/25/2009 1:27:06 PM)

Now that's what I call a do-me sub:  a charity case who specifies what kind of charity he wants. [:D]

pyroaquatic -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/25/2009 3:17:11 PM)

A very fast reply after thoroughly reading through....

Principles of a Female Led Relationship.

Listen,

Obey,

Serve.

Is there anything I am missing here? The past has past and we have such wonderfully intelligent ladies to ensure that fucked up things do not happen again (and men, cannot forget the intelligent men).

While the past should not and cannot be forgotten (only manipulated for our own ends I swear) let us look toward a future of women not needing men because they are able to reproduce by taking a genetic sample from another woman (or herself) and inserting it into an egg.

Yay.

Oh yes,

Follow. There is one I have missed.

So it goes...

Listen, Obey, Serve, and Follow.

This seems vaguely similar... something with vows and a gold band.... dun dun da duunn! *throws flower petals*

Those damned veils!!

</absurd delusions>

Lockit -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/25/2009 3:21:50 PM)

Don't touch the egg's! I mean it... leave the egg's alone! God what a nightmare thought that is at my age! lol Damn it Pyro... you were doin pretty good until that! hehe

mnottertail -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/25/2009 3:23:19 PM)

Meh, eggs are bland, they are saying on another thread.

R

pyroaquatic -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/25/2009 3:36:59 PM)

in that manner.

PeonForHer -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/25/2009 5:15:09 PM)

Stop toadying, Pyro.  It just gives them big heads and they never really believe it anyway.

;-)

Look, Otters, I'm sorry to have to break it to you, but Tinkerbell doesn't exist.

On the bright side: Lockit does . . . .[;)]

pyroaquatic -> RE: Principles of a Female Led Relationship (9/25/2009 6:20:42 PM)

I leave the toads outside where they eat the catfood. Unless you would like to explain something to me.

Well so far it tallies poorly for males (for me, me and another male)...

so female it is. They are far more pleasant to be around (even when they are not trying to be). I also hear they live longer for some reason. Gee, they also listen to what I have to say even when it is insignificant.

Toady? Naw.

More like...

Men suck and it seems that most of them want to get in my pants (even if the pants do not fit or I am not done with them yet.) I've had a hell of a week...

let me just say I am not going to the bars alone any longer.

I need a cock blocker.

-_-;
