At Walmart you can get chicken in a huge bag for 10 lbs for like 5.88 or something like that. I will buy that, and cook it down in a few pots, strip it off the bone, and then free the broth, chicken and things for soups, pot pies, and whatever else I can do with chicken. It goes a real long way and can be tossed in for anything. I also get pork roast, .99 a pound, and since there's only two of us I'll buy a bigger one, slice it in three. Free them seperately season them, put in two or three potatoes and a few carrots and bake it for a few hours. It comes out tender and delicious! I can also make lasagna, or really any italian dish for pretty cheap.
