I did not think Walmart was cheaper on food.  Except popcorn is .25 cheaper- not worth the drive tho.

When I was a student, and completely broke, and starving, I bought a very ripe (but still bright green) avocado and a still-warm crispy baguette. It cost me about 1GBP and it's one of the most memorable meals ever: smeared the buttery avocado on the bread, and ate it on the side of the road on the trip from Tuscany back to Geneva. Yum.
