If Buddism has no deity..why is it called afther Buddha? And why do they bow to those cute little fat men. (just wondering or is this more soemthing they do for tourists) Always thought he had a similar "role" as Jesus...

The fat buddha images come from geographical sects that drew connections between buddha and nobility/success. Gautama is pictured as a slender man.

But Buddha was a person not? (you answered that already). It is funny to hear it beeing said we have no diety..and still they kinda "worship" him. At least I personally don't see much difference with other religions....besides the followers acting differently. And that last is ofcourse the most important.

He's not so much a deity as an example to follow. He transcended the normal mortal human realm and achieved enlightenment.
