I set my search at 50 - 99.  As mentioned above I did see a 20 year old pro, it was a disaster.

Thanks to all for the responses.  I've found that I'm uninteresting, my attitude needs adjusting, I have no sense of humor, and I appear to be looking for a mercy fuck.  All this and only one person actually took a look at my profile?

Even though I am not seeking a  domme,  allow me to impart this bit of advice. Not only do you need to express what you are about you need to approach a woman in a manner which you are communicating to her as a person and not to the role she identifies with. Express who you are as a person, your likes/dislikes, interests and what you have to offer her as a person and then as a submissive. Most want to know the man first, they want know that you are not just another male who is always concerned about his wants and needs and giving that impression that he will put his needs above her's. That is the main reason why I am able to call many dommes friend, they know I will not treat them with disrespect nor will I treat them less then what they are- they are a person first.

Sure, if I had your looks I wouldn't have a problem either.

I was being sincere in my advice. Believe me, my looks aren't what help me do well. It's being sincere and honest. Well, and my stuffed animals, but that's an ace up my sleeve that I'll always rely upon.

Stuffed animals, huh, I'll have to think about that.  Seems honesty is what's giving me problems.

Well a woman in the same age group saying your age is the reason she could not consider you is rather strange, but it could be true that she only wants younger men. That is one woman. Not all women would have a problem with your age and many of us who are older want an older man. Why put so much into the words or actions of a few? Why not just consider the source and move on to the next person who might fit better? Why take on the hurt of someone who shouldn't matter so much?

If you have a struggle with your age... then maybe you need to work that out a bit. I know many dominant's who want an older man and who will not consider a younger man. Look for them. You can't take this shit personally. Do you know some of the comments I have gotten? One famous guy contacted many of us older dominants and said... Aren't you a little old to be a dominant? Then there are the idiots that treat us like a mould a mistress play toy... we can't take that personally. Let the idiots be idiots and just go on about what you are doing and look for the positive. It can frustrate us, but don't let it ruin your self image.

I'm not making this up, Lockit. Here's one of many that I've found.

I'm 57 years young, DOMINANT (NOT Pro, and NOT a switch), SWF, approximately 20 yrs BDSM exp, . Seeking M or F friend/lover/partner/ sub/slave, 30-42 (I *might* consider someone younger; my upper age limit, however, is VERY FIRM).

I'm done, I will work on my profile tomorrow and getting my head straight.

I hate it when people call themselves "X years young." I'm proud to have made it to 50 years OLD--so many people thought I never would!

Some peoles too.

That is the best thing I've read from you, OP, thus far.  Take a break and think about how you want to be percieved by others.  I have a feeling you're more than just a set of numbers.

Here's something to play while you do your rewrite...

Good lord, what a whiner!

There are many, many more submissive men out there looking than there are dominant women. If you want to find a relationship, then you need to get an attitude transplant and fast. All the hostile and nasty posts you've made are probably total turn offs for a domme... they're ALL about YOU.  You're reasonably attractive from your picture. Get a service-minded, "yes ma'am", positive, upbeat attitude and you will do better.

A dominant woman isn't there to cater to you. You are there to cater to HER. If that isn't what you want, you need to consider what exactly it is that you DO want. And then you need to write something useful in your profile that explains who you are, what you are looking for, and what you have to offer a dominant.

You would also do well to get out and meet folks at munches in your local area. Google for BDSM and the name of your town, or the name of the nearest big town. Look for places that have social gatherings or workshops and meet people in person.

I'm 47. My Lady is 56. There are plenty of us out here in this lifestyle who are not twenty-somethings.

You mean checking boxes on a list is a profile?  I look at it this way.  If you are too lazy to write even one single word about yourself, then you are probably too lazy to serve as a submissive man.

Sir is 68 and we met 4 years ago when I was 54.  One of my best friends is a wonderful female sub who is 69 and she played with her first Dom when she was 67.  That Dom is 67 now.  Have another friend who is 62.  He has a collared slave he met when he was nearly 60.  We all found partners.

So what is the difference between you and my friends?  Hmmmmmmm.  Perhaps they worked at finding a partner.  They filled out a profile.  They attended their local munch.  They also attended munches in the next town.  They went to events.  They also volunteered in their kink community to help others.   They did not come online to whine that no one will will look at me because I'm too OLD.

I can not believe that a Pro Domme would turn down perfectly good business because of your age.  Pro Dommes run a service business.  They do not need to be sexually attracted to you to have you lick their boots or beat you with a flogger.  I have a feeling it has something to do with your health or else she got some vibe from you that led her to skip the extra income.
