I admit, it's kind of my idea, and I like it better than my exec. chefs idea. His is just too much work and we don't have the manpower or resources for it. I admit, that I would be drilling holes in the skis to place mini ice cream cones in to hold them, as a service piece/display piece for a big catering we're doing with a ski/snowboard theme. I admit, we'll be using a couple snowboards up on ice blocks and ice sculptures (simple ones) for service as well... I hope. I admit it, I'm surprised M. didn't want to kill me, but I was right about my saving grace being my insanity buying some time. ;)
