I admit I hate when people jump into this thread, completely miss the point of it, and just start ranting about stupid shit that no one wants to hear. And repeat themselves. It makes me feel like a private conversation that I'm having with friends has just been smashed to pieces by a drunken relative or something.

I admit the sky is grey and the rain is pouring today, and I love it.

I admit I'm going to my support group tonight, and on Monday I'm going to make an appointment with the head shrinker for the lead-up to my T letter. I think Max and I are almost ready for me to take that step.

I admit I think Stevie is crazy for being up at this hour on a Saturday morning.

This thread certainly shows the greater majority of posts completely missing the point of the thread - which is about confession and personal responsibility. I'm not quite certain where the confessional nature is of admitting that the sky is grey, or that you think Steven is crazy for being up early.

Certainly coming out with going to a therapist could be interpretted as confessional in nature.

And who are you to say what everyone else wants to hear? Hmmm...

I've noticed in fact that when people do post based on the point of this thread (again, personal responsibility and confession), they are generally ignored, but those who spout off things that *I* would consider nonsense are given lots of attention and kudos. However, it wouldn't be very gracious of me to tell someone that their post is something I think should remain private, now would it? Nor would it be particularly accepting or welcoming to tell someone their post is "stupid."

For the record, I admit I am so sick of "I hate fake profiles" posts from brand spankin' new people that this last set of them might have made me ruder than usual. Mea Culpa. But I also think that perhaps newbies should read around a little and get a bit of a feel for the culture of the board (and see how many times that particular complaint has been posted) before they spew. Especially if they're going to follow that ever present complaint with a veiled insult to this board and the people who post on this thread. I happen to like the people who post on this thread, I care about their lives, and a post from someone with a total of 6 under his belt bitching about "this damn board", and implying that reading the admits here is only to be undertaken if there are no other options available, isn't going to get a very friendly reaction from me.

I admit that there seems to be a bug up the board's butt this morning. There are multiple posting everywhere, and I have made one myself. But I has the sense to go back and check to see if there was a multiple posting (and edit it out) rather than re-seding the same post six freaking times without checking.

I admit maybe I do have a bug up my butt after all. Perhaps a good beating will make it vacate. *sigh*

I admit, yes, mobile phones cause double, triple etc. posts sometimes...happened on quite a few occations when I dared to reload a previous page instead of loading it fresh again

and also when your post appears not to display and you press the button again and again to get it to post instead of just waiting and trusting that it will come up

I admit my aim to get up between 8 and 10 am failed...after I want to sleep finally at 5am

I admit after lots of pushing myself I got up at 2.30pm and currently get ready to meet c-dom.

I admit I will be leaving in 25 minutes...to be there almost 3 hours later...,

I admit I hope he isn't on his worst behaviour today...but knowing my huffing and puffing towards him in january I know that he might be...

I admit, normally I look forward to have dinner with him before we get active (he is a marvellous cook), though I don't expect that today with his aim only to meet for two hours...but well, will wait and see...
