Status: offline 		I admit when I went to the interview on wednesday, I had to drive through many road work on the motorways...

I admit on one occassion a car with a camper van on it passed me despite that I drove bang on the speed limit within that road work area...

I admit it reminded me on the Holland thread...as yes, it was a car from there

I admit I had a fabulous day.  Museum, art, dark chocolate, red wine, filet mignon, and a damn fine friend to talk poetry, ballet, economics, politics, history, and music with.

I don't know how many times I said tonight, "I love my life."

I admit it's good that it's true.

but they are better than Miami drivers!!

I admit I refuse to drive there, someone else can risk their life, ok, mine too, but at least I'm not the one driving!

I admit on that day I got my genuine belief that they should ALWAYS control the speed limit in EVERY road work area...on the motorways...

When the limit is 80km and trucks consider it to be ok to pass you quite fast, despite that you drive 80, then this is not something I consider to be funny....cause yes, they are at work and want to get to the customer etc....but quite frankly also we have way too many accidents in those areas of the motorway, so it would not harm to be rigorous about the controls in there...instead of just controlling it sometimes....same applies of course for other car and mobile home drivers, not just truck drivers...

Status: offline 		that doing the speed limit and still getting passed is fairly normal here in the US... and many parts of Canada, IIRC.

the fines are greater in work zones but that is assuming there are actually police to enforce the limits...

Status: offline 		Actually Dutch drivers do seem to be in a hurry always, because of our traphicjams every day!

I admit I'm not a really bad driver myself, but I do irritate myself on Belgium drivers....... those seem to need all lanes in a motorway :)

i admit, the day before yesterday, my headphones got ripped on a moron's gate latch; the gate was left open blocking the sidewalk. how hard is it to close your gates? i admit, that day i also had the worst instance of this exercise-related "asthma" thing.

i admit, the universe is trying to tell me something, but i'm not sure i care to listen. haha =p

Getting passed if you do the speed limit IS normal.  Doing the speed limit, not so much.
