I admit that being in traffic, during rush hour in a third world country like Sri Lanka, where the "lanes" are not exactly marked is about the scariest thing I have ever experienced. There are huge trucks carrying felled trees, goats, cattle, the occasional elephant with its trainer, three wheelers, motorcycles, bicycles with 4 or 5 people sitting across the crotch bar, then some cars trying to get here or there. People drive on the sidewalks, they don't use turn signals, and going up into hill country, there are no guard rails... just a huge drop into thousands of feet of tea bushes and canyon type areas.

I admit that I used to say that people who complained about driving in the States should have a giant crane machine come down and drop them in the middle of Colombo, SL, on a Friday afternoon, when people are trying to get back home... in rush hour... where going 20 miles could take up to 5 hours as a regular occurence.

I admit it in my present mood that would suit me just fine!!!

I admit that I am confident that one day, BSB, we will make that happen.

I admit that I am fascinated at Charne's painting, digital or otherwise. You are very talented.

I admit that the thought of goats, cattle and elephants roaming the streets of Paris makes me giggle.

I admit that yes Montreal drivers really are that speshul, they really frighten me.

I guess I'm about an hour from Montreal, just moved to Cornwall.

I admit, the're no real goats or any other cattle in Paris, but the French are terrible drivers in any way, so you can compare them to it *biggrin*
I admit, I once drove there and was told by a Parisien when to park your car, you slowly bump into the one before you and then into the one behind, just to make more space for your own car.
I admit, I looked at him with unbelief, but he showed me how they do it *giggles again with the idea*

I admit, painting calms me down, takes my mind of things I rather do not want to think of, because they hurt.
I admit, bein' unowned hurts, but eventually it will pass and I will re-open.

*sighs*

I admit, I am going to start on my painting. Taking my mind off of things....... Thank you too hunnyRed, you're deeply appreciated by me.

I admit I don't want to get bashed for all those carbs in a meal. lol

I admit I would share how I make it with Greedy if she wants me to.

I admit I love all the mods.

I admit if BSB sticks her head in the sand, that leaves her body available for the rest of us to molester.

I admit I'm ok with that.

I admit I only worked on the hole digging flagstone patio project for about an hour then, after sweating about 5 pounds off and cursing profusely about getting stingy sweat in my eyes over and over and over......I just gave up and came inside for a shower. Then we went into town and got some freshly picked sweet corn (which generic dude is currently cleaning for cooking) and some of my favourite ice cream. I came home and took a nap and am now being verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry lazy.

I admit I am medicated and doing emails may not be something I am up to, so here it is:

Potato Soup

Take any amount of potatoes, peeled or not depending on what you like, but peeled is the best
At least half as many onions, cut/slice and leave some smaller ones whole (People will fight over the whole ones!) Or just cut some bigger ones in half. People really like part of an onion wrapping around the potatoes. Oh yum!
Milk, depending on how much you are making, plan on at least half a gallon

Cut potatoes in any manner you like, make some bigger than others as many potatoes will fall apart, which will thicken the soup. Boil them in a large pot with lots of water and a pot that is a non stick surface or you will be sorry later on. I salt and pepper while boiling them as potatoes absorb the spices, so don’t over salt, but some like lots of pepper because it makes the soup spicy.

When potatoes are soft and you can put a fork in them without effort, drain half the water out and replace it with milk. Add the onions and other spices you would like. I use garlic and onion powder, parsley, sea salt and pepper. Cook until it is thick and more like a stew. If it doesn’t thicken because the potatoes didn’t fall apart as some potatoes seem to be harder and less likely to do that, you can thicken the soup with some flour, corn starch (do this in a cup or bowl and very slowly blend it in or it will lump on you), wondra (Is the best I have found) or even potato flakes, but the potato flakes will change the flavor and I don’t recommend them.

Serve with sweet corn bread. You can use the box mixes, just add sugar to the batter before you bake. The spicier your soup, the better the taste with the corn bread.

My neighbors would smell this cooking and come to the door with a bowl in their hands. It is really very simple, but doesn’t taste simple at all! Some even eat it for breakfast. It takes about half a day to thicken and be right. Time consuming, but well worth it!
