Status: offline 		I admit DD, my heart goes out to your mom's friend, I'm sending prayers and good thoughts her way for all involved.

I admit I HATE cancer and what it does to those unfortunate enough to be struck by it, as well as the families affected.

I admit I know firsthand the hell people go through when a loved one is afflicted by that insidious and ugly disease.

I admit Greedy, I usually freak out at the sight of small creatures of the gecko type, but  he's got such a happy smiley face, he's just too cyooooot for words.

Does anybody know how long crickets stay awake?? I'm having a cricket problem in my apt. Every time I kill them more appear. *sigh*

Status: offline 		greeds. You wouldn't happen to have a pic of him from the top would you? It's hard to tell but that looks like one of the several species of Madagascar Day Gecko. A pic from the top would confirm whether it is that or a member of genus Anolis.

Carolina anole. Rather common thru the southeast. Used to be more common in FL but they are being pushed out of their habitat in the more urban areas by the Bahamian anole (Anolis sagrei).

They change colors which is why their common name in some places is "Chameleon"

You can tell by the shorter nose (than a male would have) and the lack of a dewlap.

Those little ants you see in the pic are what she is eating.
