Its a bit more complex than that Pots (smiles, isn't it always), it is more that we both wanted to commence a relationship however are taking it very slow.  Um how to explain, my romantic relationship with the ex was over in late March/early April, the friendship ended in August but I only found out about the lies a week ago.  This served to (for want of a better word) bring total closure for me as it explained all of the unanswered questions I had.  But yep, it also brought all of the feelings I had for him to the forefront of my mind again for that time. 

New person, who has been a close friend and confidant for most of that time without ever crossing the line into anything romantic, is someone that I talked with about things like my dreams, values, life goals, fuckups in my past ...and he shared all of his.    So we did all of this without the complication of anything sexual or any ulterior motive..as in, trying to impress the other person.

We have been catching up a bit in recent times and we both realised at the same time that this was more than friendship even though neither of us was looking or wanting that.

He wants my focus to be on getting healthy and having my family around as I do so but he also wants me to remember that he is with me through this as he has been in the past, but that it is in a deeper way.

Damn, I admit that I am probably not explaining myself very well but I talked to him a LOT before we agreed to this and I actually sent him a long list of pros and cons and also possible options for us and he then came over and we talked about them all in detail before agreeing to start a D/s relationship.

I also talked with a number of people in the scene who are my friends who have known him for years before I made a decision.

errrr just add a whole lot of admits please above ha ha

I admit that you are welcome to ask me any other questions as this took my real life friends by surprise as well mainly because he and I had both not even thought to talk about our friendship with anyone over this time as ....well, we were just mates for all of that time whereas I rave about whomever I am currently lusting after!!!

Status: offline 		errrrrr and just being totally shallow for a second...I admit that new guy is 6 foot 3, wears a suit to work (and looks gorgeous in it), has biceps and a chest to die for because he boxes at the gym, reads all of my emails (including the one that had all of the pros and cons as well as 7 possible options for us ha ha) and tells me daily how special I am and how he cares for me....how could I NOT fall for him...grins
