mine would only try that once ....
i'm not a good person to mess with.
although i did chase my dark skinned youngest going yum chocolate and she would run screaming thinking she was going to be dessert.
anyone that knows me knows better than to kill spiders in front of me. last week a daddylonglegs was crawling up a friends back and i grabbed it bare handed before he could scream and kill it. spidey is safe now.

Sorry, but anything with more than 4 legs dumb enuf to come into my house is a grease spot on the floor, wall, ceiling...wherever I happen to moosh it at....and then there are the cats...who like bugs as appetizers!  Outside, they're in their environment......doing all the good things that bugs do...well spiders, anyway, but inside, I take care of my own pest control.  But wierdly enuf, I don't mind tarantulas, they are sorta cool.
