i think the first question is 'bdsm speech' and so sounds totally weird and insane.
In normality it might sound like:
can a husband insist his wife should get pregnant by donor?

and of course he can insist... she has to decide to go along with it though...

i did just that... i was never broody either... the clock was ticking though... and ticking and ticking... eventually my Husband decided how we would proceed with things... i was very insecure... i can not make decisions of this scale... i can not look in the future... but i do not want to miss out either... but then there is everything that can go wrong.... and the money it costs... and the time it takes... and what if i would not like it? That is me... i just sit on the fence dithering until someone pushes me off it.

So Him being The Man, He made the decision for us, He is responsible also if it all goes tits up... i trust Him to do what is right for us... He is better at seeing ahead than i am... it is best for me to follow Him

and indeed i love being a mother... everything did almost go wrong and He nearly lost us both in childbirth, but we agree that it was well worth everything so far...

It changed our entire relationship... it knitted us tighter together, we are a family now... not just a couple anymore.

The entire dynamic of the relationship can change in a heartbeat:

He is my Master, except when it comes to the well being of the baby....

I defer all decisions to him, except those that have to do with the health/safety of the offspring...

Hopefully he will not expect me to sit quietly when he attempts to override my better judgment as a mother...
