No one cares about your barf thread or dogs.

Where's the new guy?

Well, ouch. I thought we were a community, Domi. I thought we could turn to each other? I thought by virtue of "chatting" with each other there would be some give-a-damn-ness. I though I could come here to lean on others "in the lifestyle" for help and advice.

But no. You just want to poo in a guy's mouth. Woe!

You know, when a guy WANTS you to kick him in the balls, it just loses all it's appeal.

He's too eager. Demanding too, what with the pet foods and vomiting and ball stomps. Meh.

AnimusRex -> RE: BARF Diet (2/15/2010 5:47:53 PM)

subtee-
My sister raises dogs (usually about a dozen at any given time) and feeds them exclusively the BARF diet. Her dogs really do live longer, and are much healthier than any dogs I ever had.
I don't own any dogs at the moment, but if I did, I would use it.

i want to try consuming humiliating things, so i'd like to be forced to eat dog or cat food, and maybe get kicked in the balls while doing so!

I will introduce you to my ex-wife and her attorney.

Well, the OP is.

intenze -> RE: BARF Diet (2/15/2010 5:57:13 PM)

I would be concerned about a couple of things with the BARF diet. The first is the issue of raw meat and bacteria. I would hesitate to feed that to my dog, for fear of contamination. The second part is all the veggies. I never have seen a dog eat a vegetable they didn't have to eat, nor would they eat a cereal unless it was people food. Dogs, being carnivores, have very specialized digestive systems and do not handle fiber well. Has anyone ever seen a dog dig up and eat a carrot?

AnimusRex -> RE: BARF Diet (2/15/2010 6:08:12 PM)

No, but I often see dogs eating grass.
Plus, when dogs eat rabbits and other prey, they often eat the stomach contents, filled with vegetables.

Jeffff -> RE: BARF Diet (2/15/2010 6:16:05 PM)

It disturbs Me that we are back on topic.

It also disturbs Me that I, after giving a great deal of quality advice, have not received one gash pic from the OP

Why do I waste My time?

Sadly

Jeff

As far as contamination goes, dogs are not susceptible to thing commonly found in meat or veggies for that matter. It is why they can eat th things they do naturally and NOT get sick. When was the last time you ate something green and furry out of the garbage after it sat there for like... 3 days without getting sick?

I've seen dogs eat plenty f veggies on their own and  they weren't starving either. They seem to like pumpkins and corn. o.O Never did figure out why.....

domiguy -> RE: BARF Diet (2/15/2010 6:44:50 PM)

You guys are worried about your dogs ingesting a few contaminants?

What about the poor new guy? Wow. It's sad when when the health concerns of our pets trumps that of our fellow man.

What about the new guy?

Dogs don't get sick from eating stuff with a lot of bacteria- notice how they can spend hours exploring their anal cavity with their tongues.

(pretty neat trick, tying the two thread topics together neatly, eh?)

Am I the only one wondering if Tee just said  "fuck it" and shot the dogs?

Jeff

LaTigresse -> RE: BARF Diet (2/16/2010 11:59:18 AM)

No, she is packing up and moving herself, and the beagles, to the farm.

Jeffff -> RE: BARF Diet (2/16/2010 12:00:39 PM)

Cool, one family two Beavers!

Sadly, the new Guy did not show up last night. We were all greatly disappointed.

Was it something we said?

DesFIP -> RE: BARF Diet (2/19/2010 6:54:38 AM)

My dog eats everything. He'll eat some vegetables, cereal if the kids spill it out of the box, same with pasta. You name it and he eats it. But he has trouble with pepperoni pizza. They left scraps at his level and he ate it. It's taken three days for him to be back to normal.

Sinful12 -> RE: BARF Diet (2/21/2010 3:24:00 PM)

You do not have to buy prepped food to feed raw.
You can feed aw chicken 5 days a week and fish 2 days a week. You will have to juices veggies and fruit as when a wolf kills eats a deer for ex: he eats the staomache after the eyes. It contains all the grassess and digestive juices. So yes they have to have veggies. The BARFdiet is an expensive alternative.

Sinful12 -> RE: BARF Diet (2/21/2010 3:26:30 PM)

How did i get an ice cream cone after 35 years of being involved as a Dom. Where do I get paddles??
