I'm pretty outspoken about my absolute adoration of a man's eyes, and eyelashes, as they are the most sensual and communicative part of man in so many cases. And I have a thing for mouths too, but that all feeds right back into my lust for gags, but anyway..

In thinking about *male bodies*, I admit to not being so smitten, or caring much at all, for chiseled frames or 6-pack abs or huge biceps. I can appreciate a nice ass, but really, I feel as though my natural reaction to male nakedness/male ass/whatever is just part of my general girlie programming.

But for some reason, I find myself head over heels for hipbones, of all things. That's just a femdom thing for me though; I'm much more drawn to photography where a man is showing a little hipbone than when he's showing off a fine chest or built body. In perusing some gay male porn, I've noticed, maybe, a more common appearance of the "bottom boy" types showing off their flat bellies and hip line, as much as if not more than showing off their ass or built biceps.

For a man to have nice hipbones, he's generally skinny-to-underweight in build, so I am wondering if the "showing off of the flat belly and hips" is more the case of not having a built chest or 6-pack abs as the trophy. Or, alternatively, is that that tops/male masters *do* find themselves often attracted to hipbones?

Hmm. I find the stomach muscle, the one that runs along side the hip bone, the one that comes down toward the groin region at an angle to be very attractive. So, if he is athetically built (think swimmer, cyclist, skiier - yeah its Olympic season yay), they tend to have nice stomach muscles and their hip bones also are more predominant.

In porn, even gay porn, the men are not your average man. So whether the reality of gay masters liking slimmer males and/or hip bones may have no corrolary whatsoever with the porn. Besides, I always thought gay male porn was meant for women viewers...lol.

Since I'm not a gay man (though sometimes I swear I am), I can't really answer as to their preferences.

This confirms 2 things.

1) I'm not alone in finding hip bones delicious. I actually love it quite a bit.
2) You and I do indeed share a brain ;-)

I'll just add that I'm not particularly attracted to underweight men. There are average weight men who have lovely hipbones.

I love long lean veiny forearms, myself, closely followed by the web of muscles on the side of the chest [recti], and THEN the divot in the muscle on the side of the hip, you know, where suncream and other liquids pool.
Not interested in washboard abs myself, or muscleheads in general: first time I felt up a guy with big biceps I thought he was either smuggling a loaf of bread or I was feeling a tumour! Ecto dudes for me since.

Oh man! I can't think like this at this hour! I can't think of much on a man I don't like! lol But... there is this place on the neck by the collar bone... that lil dip... ohhhhhhhh! Or the inside of the elbow... weird I know. And hands... I am a freak for hands! lol Other than that, it is something different with each man.

I believe the hips take on added sexual significance because they are so crucial for physically controlling your partner's position. No where else on the human body is so close to the center of gravity and able to deal with so much force. More specifically, controlling the hips gives you control of the pelvis so you can have your way with someone. Also since most men wear pants and not kilts, revealing the area typically covered by a waistband or belt receives more focus. From a femdom perspective do you think there could be a connection between strap-on play and your attraction to hipbones?
