Why is there so little switchery going on in the message boards? Well....could be a couple things. I have no doubt that there are a lot of switches out there who are in hiding because of the people who scream at the top of their lungs "switches don't exist", or all the negative things I've heard or been told myself that I won't take the time to repeat here. Besides I think most of us have encountered something along those lines at some point. If someone is going to have a problem with any of the things our lifestyle affords us, the right to choose to be both is the major thing I've ever heard complaints about. It seems we are the most understood "species" in the BDSM world. Really sad since, I've noticed here, we are all so eloquent about expression ourselves (okay, so not everybody. Think broad stroke generalizations here for the sake of saving space. I'm aware that there are those who fully accept us as we are as well). Something else to ponder about as well, as already stated, some of us go off on the other boards to post when the question that we are asking, or the comment we are making, leans toward one side or the other. It could just as easily be posted here as well, but most wouldn't want to post a question twice and probably figures that they'll get more responses out of the targeted audience. That and there's not much action on the Ask a switch boards (it's a horrific circle, I know). Last but not least, Elisabella so beautifully stated ^.^ a lot of the other boards are posts of complaining, whining, or relationship problems. If not a mix of the three. Unless we are going to the other boards to post such things, and I'm sure some are, I find it rather complimentary that those threads aren't the dominating topic of conversation here. I don't have a problem reading about people who are sincerely wanting help in their relationship, but those posts tend to get repetitive very quickly. Seems like with vanilla relationships, there are only so many things that can actually go wrong (without the addition of possibly life threatening recourse from our favorite hobbies). I'm really glad you asked the question though, may be it will push some people who don't normally post here to come back to our little group and contribute here as well as the other boards.
