A party's not a party without spinach dip! 1 pkg CHOPPED frozen spinach, thawed and drained 1 16 oz carton of sour cream (low fat and fat-free work fine) 1 8oz block of Philly Cream Cheese (although I really like the texture of the whipped kind...again, low or no-fat is fine) 1 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (the powdered mix) Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip to taste (I like a big blop of Miracle Whip, which is about 2/3 cup) You can serve it in a big round loaf of bread, just cut a circle out of the top, leaving about a 1/2 inch at the bottom, to make a big hole in the bread loaf. Break up the circle you cut out into bite-size pieces to dip with. You can also just serve it in a bowl with crackers, veggies, breadsticks, or whatever floats your boat :) People always rave about it when I make it and ask for the recipe, so you might want to take a few pre-written recipe cards with you.
