What in the fuck does the NY Times board of directors or the staff at MSNBC have to do with the topic?

Other than a blatant attempt to divert a topic that certain people do not want to discuss.

If you and Sanity want to debate hiring practices at major media outlets then start a thread for that, it has no relevance to this subject.

Are you really this dense? Mike claimed that the Tea Protesters were mostly white, therefore they must be racist.
Sanity and I counterpointed that the board of the NY Times ( A progressive rag) and the staff of MSNBC ( A progressive news channel) were also all white, therefore following Mike's fucked up rules, must also be racist.

If you can't follow the debate, and need me to explain this to you, I'll be happy to do so, I'm always willing to help out the mentally challenged.

No, what you and Sanity are doing is hijacking the thread to something totally unrelated and off-topic because you can't make a valid argument on the subject of the discussion.

Video - Tea Partiers revenge: Infiltrating Liberal Talk Radio

Ed Schultz has to be one of us, making them look bad...

There can be no other explanation! [;)]

mnottertail -> RE: Tea Party Crashers (4/21/2010 11:00:35 AM)

He dyed his hair!!!!!  He's a redhead, used to play football at Moorhead State University, went to highschool with his wife, sat around and jacked some jaws with them at the reunions, yes, he used to be a conservative radio talk show host here.

Now hes strictly entertainment like the imbicile limbaugh and Fox News.

Sanity -> RE: Tea Party Crashers (4/21/2010 11:22:51 AM)

This Ed Schulz character of yours makes Rush Limbaugh's behavior seem more like Mother Theresas by comparison.

If he isn't working for us, I'm glad he's working for you! What a buffoon... [:D]

Ja, fuck all that freedom of speech bullshit you spout when it is convenient to your cause, lets burn this constitution motherfucker down.

Sanity -> RE: Tea Party Crashers (4/21/2010 2:46:59 PM)

GEICO isn't interfering with that guys Constitutional rights, mnot.

When I was little I learned that words mean things, and therefore words have consequences, even in a free country.

how do these two situations diverge such that one is small minded and the other a good example.  Perhaps its only the viewpoints involved.

Sanity -> RE: Tea Party Crashers (4/21/2010 3:22:16 PM)

You really think you can equate Tea Partyers objecting this fellows' harassing phone calls with the lefts' attempts to shut down opposing news and opinion broadcasts?

Sanity -> RE: Tea Party Crashers (4/21/2010 3:36:03 PM)

Nobody is saying that the left can't try to shut down Beck or Hannity or Limbaugh or all the other people they want silenced forever, and no one is saying that GEICO spokesman can't make harassing phone calls.

What I am doing, all I am doing, is exercising my own right to speak by pointing their behavior out.

"You really think you can equate Tea Partyers objecting this fellows' harassing phone calls with the lefts' attempts to shut down opposing news and opinion broadcasts? "- Sanity

Tell me you aren't being serious please. The media outlets that are left are in control of Big Business. They spout what Big Business wants them to spout for the good of Big Business. Any thought that there are "leftists" reporting news is just another myth of the Tea Party idiots.

Tea Party is a joke unto itself anyway. Just as with Sarah Palin it simply feeds into White Angst over "the direction" of "their" country. I've watched plenty of video of Tea Partiers. They are white as the driven snow.

jlf1961 -> RE: Tea Party Crashers (4/22/2010 5:30:21 AM)

The teapartiers are nothing more than a right wing neoconservative group that would like nothing better than to see the United States turn into a Whites Only Theocracy.

Why the Left Needs Racism

It serves a political purpose.

What do you get when you cross a corny old joke with a network news report? Something like this:
A black guy walks into a tea party, and a white lady says to him, "You know, we don't get many African-Americans in here." The black guy replies, "And at these prices, it's no wonder!"

The joke, at least as we originally heard it, involves a kangaroo and a bartender. The news report, brought to our attention by the fellows at NewsBusters.org, involved NBC reporter Kelly O'Donnell and tea-party activist Darryl Postell. O'Donnell approached Postell at a Washington rally, and hilarity ensued:
O'Donnell: There aren't a lot of African-American men at these events.
Postell: [laughs] Right.
O'Donnell: Have you ever felt uncomfortable?
Postell: No, no, these are my people, Americans.

Again, cut and paste. Do you have an actual opinion? Or like most in the "movement" you let a couple of drug addicts and a former cheerleader from Idaho do the talking for you.

Sanity -> RE: Tea Party Crashers (4/22/2010 6:30:27 AM)

I can say more with one little cut and paste then you can with a hundred of your weak little insults, my friend.

DomYngBlk -> RE: Tea Party Crashers (4/22/2010 6:33:48 AM)

Oh yeah? About sums it up. lol. Well thats great. You've mastered some basic computer skills. Whats next maybe reading comprehension?
