Mother; So Johnny, what do you want to be when you grow up, a Fireman, Cop, Cowboy?"
Johnny; "I want to be a COMMUNITY ACTIVIST!"
Father; "I knew it! He's a fuckin' QUEER!"

It`s not community organizers that conservatives don`t care for,per se.

It`s democracy itself, they abhor and try to degrade.

So when did you last pay cash money to YOUR community organizer?

Where does one look?   What do they DO???

The OP was correct.  No one knows.   Also- to say one CANT criticize Obama is in itself racist.

Popeye, the thing with humour is that it can hide a myriad of agendas. If you truly meant your "joke" about the "poor" in a humourous way, it didnt come across like it.

is one thread really that alarming?  (could be someone having a bad day)  it seems a series of threads of the same- type of --, and yet- how many outright ARE?

Humorless sub, the thing about humor is that you have to have a "sense" of it.

One can only find humour where it truly exists......... Olive told me that.

Pahunk, there have been numerous threads with bigotted and racist overtones recently. Even you should have spotted that.

"Get the hook!"

Polite sub, what is "barely concealed racism?"
This is a thread about "Community Organizers." Not everyone "thinks" like you you know.

No, he meant it the way you took it.  The "humor"  comments are a smoke screen.
